Located at the ever-increasing number of food outlets in Jaya One Petaling Jaya, Chilli Rush is a cozy restaurant with minimal decorations that offers some serious fiery hot stuffs to those who dares!

Nice for sharing, this Mixed Platter (RM22.90) has bite-sized appetizers of crispy Nacho (goes well with the addictive salsa sauce), Meatball, Fish Cutlet that has a hint of spiciness in it, and a bowl of fresh salad in Mediterranean style.

One of the savoury local foods that I tried! Even from far the nice fragrance already tickle my taste buds. This Ayam Percik with Nasi Bojari and Acar (RM18.90) can be quite complete meal for either lunch or dinner, it comes with Nasi Bojari, Chilli Rush’s specialty acar, crackers, and the steal-my-heart Malaysian style BBQ chicken that chef marinates it in a thick sauce of their secret blend of local herbs and spices. Awesome!

Another interesting main course at Chilli Rush, the tender Lamb Shank with Wild Rice that served together with mix veggies and wild rice (grain that high in protein, amino acid lysine, dietary fiber, and low in fat). Chef cooked it for several hours till soft in tenderness and to fully infused the aroma and essence of their very nice home made sauce.

I love pasta. This Pan Fried Dory in Cheesy Spinach Pasta (RM23.90) looks green but ‘fraid not the taste, the cheesy cream sauce was rich in flavor with finely blended spinach and the fragrance garlic. Chef paired it with a pan fried dory fillet which quite big in portion, it was indeed a nice combination to me.

Bring the heat on! Calling for all the food adventurous who wants to challenge his/her tolerance on the spiciness chart.

Chilli Rush’s best-seller fingers-licking good Chicken Wings (RM12.90) are available from Level 1 to 10, which Levels 2-5 use bird’s eye chilli while Levels 6-9 use habanero and Level 10 uses Naga Jolokia. It comes with cucumber and carrot sticks in a yoghurt dip for diners to ease the hotness after.

For those who dare, try enter their Chilli Rush Challenge, where you need to finish 12 unlisted Level 11 hot wings in 2 minutes in order to get your photo pinned on the Wall of Fame and receive a surprise gift token!

Being the 2 signature desserts that one must try at Chilli Rush, the Red Velvet Cake and Panna Cotta definitely stamped an impression to me. The addictive Red Velvet Cake (RM11.90/piece; RM140/cake) was moist and not too overwhelm sweet; while the creamy soft Panna Cotta was simply delectable with light vanilla cream mousse.
