Offered some of local well-accepted dishes including Roasted Chicken, Steamed White Chicken, Char Siew, and Roasted Pork, Hainan Lien Yee’s version was quite nice for the price sold.

The Roasted Chicken and Steamed White Chicken are sold at RM36 for whole portion and RM18 for half portion. Alternatively, customer can also opt for single portion which is RM5.50 that comes with a bowl of rice and soup.

The slightly char prepared and nicely caramelized Char Siew is one of my favorite dishes here. Customer can order the single portion at RM6 that comes with a bowl of rice and soup, or for sharing purpose RM8 for regular portion and RM16 for large portion.

According to owner, the Roasted Pork (RM8 regular; RM16 large) sold out quite fast during the lunch crowd, and they actually do not recommend it for dinner crowd because its outer layer does not tastes crispy anymore by later of the day. That simply because the chef did not put any preservative on it for a healthier version of Roasted Pork.
