Herry Budiazhari, Marketing Director of Unilever Malaysia said, “LIPTON teabag is clearly the number one teabag in Malaysia. The LIPTON YELLOW LABEL teabags are made from the finest international blends from Ceylon and Kenya, giving LIPTON tea its signature aroma and taste. It is ideal to leverage on these strengths and enhance the LIPTON tea experience with an exciting twist. Teabags have been consumed as a ritual and we are inspiring consumers to jazz up tea and bring it to the next level by making it as the exciting drinks for any meals, festive, & social occasion.”

Both AFC and Unilever Malaysia are passionate about sharing the joy of food and beverage with the Malaysian community and this project has helped us to further realize this passion. This is the first tea-centric series that AFC has filmed and we are excited to premiere this new and interesting concept to our viewers. Chef Nik shares his views on his experience shooting Tea Twist, “Tea is a very compatible and flexible drink. It is amazing how well tea works with many great flavours and spices especially spices and herbs more familiar with Asians. Each spice, herb or fruit triggers a completely different experience. I had a lot of fun experimenting with the Lipton team as well and I hope viewers will be inspired to brighten their day with a new twist to tea.”
Herry added, “Drinking black tea is no longer confined to just ‘plain’ or with sugar nor should the refreshing teabag be limited to morning and tea time rituals but as an exciting refreshment to be enjoyed every day and at any occasion.”
LIPTON will also embark on a sampling activation at selected hypermarkets and supermarkets to bring the refreshing tea experience to life. There will also be more exciting activation planned out in conjunction with the campaign very soon!
Catch the premiere of Tea Twist exclusively on the Asian Food Channel, Friday 18 October at 9.30pm on Astro Channel 703.
