When Enak KL first anchored its picturesque restaurant in the capital’s most luxurious mall – Starhill Gallery, Enak KL was destined to shine like a diamond. Eight years have gone by and truly Enak KL is no less than a bright shining star in the classical Malay culinary world.

Available from now until the year end, Enak KL’s 8th Anniversary Gourmet 5-Course Menu with selected drinks is standing at a reasonable price RM175++ per person.

Udang Kepompong Daun Selasih

Wrapped in fresh basil leaf and strips of wonton skin, the prawn is then fried and served together with Enak KL’s signature dipping sauce. Crispy in texture and full of the rich flavor from basil leaf, it was a very delightful dish to me.

Paired with wine Mancura Sauvignon Blanc Chile


Ikan Bakar Kulat Paku

Sit on top of a bed of flavorsome wild ferns and wild forest mushrooms, the butterfish is marinated with fragrance lemongrass and freshly ground black pepper before chef grilled it to a nice golden perfection.

Served together with percik gravy in light lemongrass and coconut milk, which to me is da bomb! So addictive to its aromatic taste without too overpowering the butterfish freshness flavor.

Paired with wine Mancura Sauvignon Blanc Chile.


Sotong Sumbat Kelapa Muda

Squid to my experience, especially in this big size, has the kunyah-kunyah-kunyah texture that I don’t quite enjoy. Stuffed with young coconut and fiery chili, this grilled fresh squid had completely amazed me with its soft tender texture.

Served with a delicious creamy sauce that was rich in flavors of candlenut, I literally fought with my partner to have the bigger portion (we shared the entire course afraid too filing). Wonderful!

Paired with wine Mancura Sauvignon Blanc Chile.


Ayam Lengkuas Bayam Merah

Plated in style, the boneless chicken leg was marinated first with freshly ground galangal and lemongrass. Chef then gently simmered it and finally grilled it to a nice golden crispness. Sautéed red spinach was served along the dish to compliment the whole experience.

Paired with wine Mancura Merlot Chille


Manisan Kelapa Muda Enak Pisang Raja

A duo of Enak KL’s signature desserts – the creamy custard with my favorite young coconut flesh and caramelized ripe banana with a slightly crisp outer layer.

The caramel sauce was prepared together with mixed herbs so that the taste was not too clogging over sweet but in a nice mild fragrant herb flavor.
