Ingen Goma Ae
An experience worth savouring at only RM103++, diners can enjoy a variety of appetizers such as garden greens with ponzu wasabi dressing and mustard mayonnaise dressing; chuuka fu idako (simmered and marinated baby octopus in sweet sesame flavoured sauce) as well as the all time favourite edamame (blanched fresh soy bean with salt).

A variety of hot and cold selection await; from freshly prepared sushi, sashimi and hot off the teppan plate specialties to udon and soba served with hot soup and not forgetting the famous Japanese hot pot that comes with either beef, chicken or seafood, as well as the cawan mushi and lots more!

At the Teppanyaki station, indulge in the Chef’s special fried rice, prawn, fresh salmon, beef and boneless chicken along with a medley of sautéed mixed vegetables. Over at the Tempura station, savour freshly prepared prawn and assorted vegetable tempura dipped in the Japanese soy sauce mixed with grated white radish.
Don’t forget to leave some room for dessert as there will be a selection of ice cream, fresh fruits, a variety of cakes, pastries and home-made chocolates as well as the Japanese red bean soup.
If that is not enough, the Saturday evening Dinner Buffet from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm also offers a wide variety of Japanese delights. Do check out the week day Executive Lunch Buffet from 12 noon to 2:30 pm that has something for everyone; it makes the perfect escape for office lunch breaks.
Meanwhile, the a-la carte menu choices are innovative and meticulously prepared will excite the palate of even the most discerning of gourmet. It encompass a variety of courses from appetizers such as Soft shell crab nama harumaki (soft shell crab wrapped in rice paper) and Ishiyaki geso mayo (stone grilled squid with mayonnaise) to heart-warming soups such as Gekikara seafood soup (spicy and sour seafood soup) and Yaki kinoko sumashijiru (steamed clear soup with mix mushroom) as well as grilled and steamed dishes.
There are also plenty of other options from an array of delectable sashimi and special sushi rolls which has a line up of Unagi maki (eel sushi), King prawn roll, President roll and Sagano’s ever popular Chef’s signature Lobster roll. The prices vary from RM12++ for a serving of Furofuki daikon to RM200++ for a full course of Sagano kaiseki.
Cater to executives who on the go looking for the perfect escape for office lunch breaks should check out the week day Executive Lunch Buffet that has something for everyone. If that is not enough, come back during the weekend for its Saturday and Sunday Brunch Buffet from 12 noon to 3 pm or the Saturday Dinner Buffet from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm where an extensive array of authentic Japanese delicacies await.
Located in the West Wing – 1st floor of the Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel, Sagano Restaurant is able to accommodate a total of almost 130 persons comfortably. It has three Tatami rooms, one Teppan Room and one private dining room in addition to the main dining area of the restaurant. Sagano opens for lunch from 12 noon to 2:30 pm and for dinner from 6:30 pm to 11 pm daily.
