Located at the busy Dataran Ara Damansara, Eastern Garden Restaurant is a typical Chinese restaurant that serves good food at decent portion and reasonable price.
Deep Fried Beancurd (RM16 small ; RM30 large)
Impressed by the lovely presentation, chef deep fried the beancurd till the outer layer turned into golden brown crisp. The mild flavor from pumpkin sauce complimented the filling inside just nice, I actually had two of it.
Stir Fried Spring Vegetables (RM23 small ; RM30 large)
A simple stir fried vegetable dish with lotus root, broccoli, celery, carrot, and cashew nuts placed on top for the extra crunchiness bite.
Curry Fish Head (seasonal price)
Served hot in claypot, chef uses Garoupa as the main ingredient for this dish cos the fish has a firmer meat texture. Cooked in own-mixed of 3 different types of curry, I did enjoy the full of flavor gravy and almost order another bowl of rice to go with it.
Eastern Garden Crispy Pork Trotter (RM48 per pcs)
A treat to the meat lovers, this Eastern Garden style pork trotter is worth recommended. With meticulously preparation, chef boiled it in herb first before deep fried the pork trotter to perfection, hence you can enjoy the crispy outer layer yet the flavorsome meat still stay tender and soft.
Boneless Spare Ribs in Mongolian Sauce (RM28 small ; RM38 large)
The crowning glory of our lunch menu that guarantees a satisfying gastronomic experience. Prepared in Mongolian sauce with black pepper-ish taste, I like that it was served boneless since am quite a lazy person.
