Located at the Jaya One Petaling Jaya, Kopi Corner is a simple and casual eatery that opened its door recently, serving some of the decent local Malaysian delights at very affordable price, to cater the rushing working crowd as well as the college students around Jaya One area.

Nothing much fancy about the restaurant interior, but the owner and staffs are very friendly and helpful, making sure the diners enjoy their meals comfortably at a cosy environment.

Kopi Corner only serves the breakfast and lunch crowd at the moment. Dishes to look out for starting an energetic day including the Toast Set, Western Breakfast, Nasi Lemak Set, Continental Breakfast, Roti Paun Set, Fried Noodle, Chee Cheong Fun, Pancake, Sandwich and Wholemeal Bun. All set meals inclusive of coffee or tea.

Few varieties of delicious lunch sets are offered at Kopi Corner, which diners can choose either from the Nasi Lemak, Nasi Kunyit, Nasi Kukus, Spaghetti, Porridge, Fried Mee Hun Siam, Fried Rice, Fried Mee Hailam or Nissin Instant Noodle. All set meals inclusive of Nestea Ice or Barley Ice.

Nasi Lemak (RM8.50)

I like the Nasi Lemak here, one spoonful of the fragrance rice indicates a good balance of coconut milk being used during the cooking process. Served together with crunchy ikan bilis and roasted peanuts, plus the addictive spicy sambal, diners can choose to go with either the fried chicken or curry chicken.

Fried Mee Hailam (RM8.50)

Simple at its best, this fried mee Hailam is one of the signatures here at Kopi Corner, which cooked together with ingredients like prawns, fish cake, squid, and vegetables. The secret to the flavorsome taste loved by many lies in the gravy that chef mixed it with his own ‘magic recipe’. Hum… I wonder what is it??

Durian Rolls (RM10)

How to resist this!!

Crispy fried durian roll with fragrant and creamy durian filling inside. I like the fact that its popiah skin is thin and the durian filling is… a lot!!

Keropok Lekor (RM5)

The local favorite tea-time snack, Kopi Corner’s keropok lekor was brought over from the state of Terengganu by the owner himself, which has more meaty bite compared to some that have thicker flour than fish meat filling.

I love the dipping sauce too with spicy savory taste, which in my opinion it complemented the keropok lekor more fantastic than the normal spicy sweet Thai chili sauce.
