Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I had the chance recently to try out The Gastro Project’s new delectable brunch menu, which only available on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am till 3 pm.

Featuring an array of scrumptious dishes with a good mix of savory and sweet delicious to delight one’s most discerning palate, diners can order from a range of choices including the local delights Nasi Lemak or Lamb Kebab till the Western favorites such as Fluffy Pancake or French Toast.

Crafted so beautifully to feast both the eyes and palate, chef layered the juicy sliced tomato, avocado, flavorful smoked salmon and poached egg on a crispy toast with creamy Hollandaise sauce served at side. (RM29.90)

Served with everyone-favorite fries at side, chef lightly pan-fried the flatbread to get that nice crispy surface before wrapped the delicious chicken and avocado salad inside. (RM19.90)

Served with a garlic toast at side, this baked egg (RM19.90) with spinach and mushroom diffused a very nice aroma once you digged in with a spoon, definitely a must order if you are a mushroom lover like me.

Or, you can also try out the baked egg with spicy sausages, love the contrast in texture, wonderful!

Sweet sourish in taste, this Greek style yogurt (RM21.90) was definitely the choice for those who prefer a healthier option. Layered beautifully with toasted Muesli, Berry compote and fresh sliced banana, it was a wholesome dish with lots of flavors, textures, and colors to start your lovely day with.

Served together with flatbread, mixed greens and The Gastro Project’s special tomato pesto, the skewered lamb kebab (RM25.90) was so flavorful and intense with its spice marinate taste. I like the texture too, not too dry and hard, delicious!

Ah… Pancake (RM17.90), one of my favorite choices for breakfast! Simple at its best, the maple syrup, berry compote and Chantilly cream that served together really complement well the pancake’s soft fluffy texture.

Coated with a special house-made egg batter before pan fried it to a nice golden brown perfection, chef spreads the French toast (RM19.90) with fragrant sweet kaya in thick layer and sprinkled with toasted almonds on top for the extra bite.

This pie (RM19.90) was my top favorite! I impressed and immediately felt in love with the fluffy and crumbly puff pastry. Paired together with savory spicy chicken curry as the filling, I think I will need two of this pie for the enjoyment and to satisfy my craving for an incredible pastry.

Served together with healthy salad at side, this short crust tart (RM21.90) came with deliciously moist turkey bacon and mushroom filling that will tempt your palate till salivate!
