Located inside the USJ 19 City Mall, Platter Houz Restaurant is a western restaurant that furnished with a lot of wooden fixtures to create that warm and rustic setting. The location itself is not that hard to find, just turn right from the main entrance of USJ 19 City Mall, walk further inside and you will see it.
With classic oldies playing at the background, do come over to Platter Houz with family or indulge in a cosy meal for two.
Large space of al fresco dining area, certainly an ideal spot to host your small event or function like birthday party.
Chicken Chowder (RM13.90)
Chef prepared this chunky chicken chowder by mixing the blended carrot, corn and chicken together with light-textured cream based soup.
Smoked Duck Breast Salad (RM21.90)
Flavorful in the balsamic vinegar dressing, I love the tender sliced smoked duck breast that served together with lettuce, cucumber, carrot, cherry tomato, onion, baco chips and cheese powder in this bowl of colorful refreshing salad.
Aglio Olio (RM22.90)
Platter Houz cooked their aglio olio with roasted garlic, dry chilies and English parsley, topped with my favorite fresh king prawns on a bed of al dente pasta. Simple comfort food yet loaded with lots of taste-tempting flavors.
MZ Chicken (RM26.90)
Served with salad and wedges, chef complemented this tender and juicy piece of crumbed pan fried chicken with homemade creamy cheesy sauce that blended in with some local Indian spices to give that hint of unique taste.
Dancing Fish with Rice (RM25.90)
An Asian-inspired dish, chef deep fried the whole Tilapia fish till golden brown crisp and attractively presented with a side of buttered fried rice. Have it together with chef’s flavorful own-mixed 3S sauce, it gives a nice balance of sweet, salty and spicy taste that I like it so much.
Sea of Love (RM49.90)
If seafood is your craving, the abundance of varieties in this combination platter, including deep fried butter fish, slipper lobster, baked scallop, cheese baked oysters, potato and vegetables, is just so irresistible!
Grilled French Lamb Rack (RM49.90)
Have a palate for red meat? This NZ French lamb rack that perfectly fine grilled with rum was my top favorite throughout the dinner. Served with butter sautéed vegetables and baked jacket potatoes, diners can choose to have the lamb rack with mushroom sauce, black pepper sauce or red wine sauce.
Some cakes and desserts for the perfect ending to a satisfying meal. I personally love the Strawberry Meringue. Made with egg white and sugar, the light in texture meringue did not taste overly sweet, just nice for my own taste buds.
Strawberry Meringue (RM9.90)
Chocolate Caramel (RM7.90)
