Black Iberian Pig

The Black Iberian Pig is raised in a free range environment with all source of natural food. During summer, the farmer will feed grain and acorns during fall for breeding. The unique way of breeding process, the pigs are capable to store fat inside and around muscle tissue that produce uniquely tender, rich, rosy meat, almost beefy with high degree of marbling.

It has largely unsaturated fat and high in omega 3 fatty acids and oleic acid that is also known to lower LDL (bad cholesterol) and raise HDL (good cholesterol). The pigs are called ‘Olive Trees on Four Hooves’ because the health benefits are similar to olive oil.
