Samosa Set (RM7 for 2 pieces)

A popular entree appetizer in Indian cuisine, samosa is a fried pastry that usually in triangular shape stuffed with savory filling, like these in spiced potato filling mixed together with peas, green chili, fennel seed, coriander and onion. Accompanied by mint sauce or flavorful chutney, it made a wonderful bite-sized snack with crispy flour dough on the outside that’s not oily at all.

*****

Vada Pav (RM5.50)

A popular ‘Grab & Go’ native fast food dish in India, this Vada Pav consists of homemade soft unsweetened bread roll (pav) with deep fried spicy potato filling that mixed together coriander and green chili. Chef also sprinkled some chutney powder on the bread to enhance its flavor with a kick.

Served along with tamarind (made with tamarind and jaggery sugarcane) and green (made with coriander, green chili and yogurt) chutney at side, each bite promises you an explosion of taste and textures.

Bhurji Pav (RM18)

Bhurji means scrambled in Indian, this simple pan fried dish with grated cottage cheese, green chilies, onion and spices was one of my top favorites at Mumbai Delights with a good mix of deliciously savory and spicy flavor. Besides pav, it is also perfect to go with the laacha paratha for a satisfying meal.

Himachali Kumbh (RM18)

Loaded with taste-tempting flavors, chef cooked these fresh button mushrooms that stuffed with cottage cheese in tikka style with a hot tandoor oven. The malai sauce made it even more delicious and fragrant, it was finished up effortlessly not too long after it was served.

*****

Thai Curry Dal and Garlic Naan (RM14)

A comfort Indian food with a twist of Thai flavor. Chef Abhi paired these garlic naan, a flat leavened bread of northwest India, with his unique creation of Thai curry dal that has a mixture of greens such as broccoli, red pepper, green pepper, pak choy, carrot, onion and lastly the dal to add in a nice texture of creaminess. Highly recommended if you are looking for something different in Indian cuisine.

*****

Parizza Layered Pizza (RM24)

Different from the normal pizza dough, Chef Abhi uses laacha paratha, layered flat bread that made with whole wheat flour, as the pizza base. To ensure its crispiness, chef prepared the laacha paratha in tandoor first before placing ingredients like fresh mushroom, capsicum, cottage cheese, cheddar and mozzarella cheese on top, then oven baked it till perfection together with chef’s special BBQ sauce.

*****

Chili Garlic Sizzler (RM24)

Fill your palate to the brim with this sizzling dish that served a variety of sumptuous dishes in generous portion. Diners can choose rice, noodle or both mixed as the base, and then it will be topped with wholesome items like corns, carrots, French beans, cherry tomatoes, fries, mixed greens and cottage cheese cutlet with appetizing chili garlic sauce.

Value for money, this dish reminds me of our ‘Chap Fan’ or ‘Nasi Campur’, it makes a satisfying lunch or dinner with lots of flavors and textures.

*****

Chocolate Samosa (RM18)

I usually have samosa as appetizer, but never once have it as dessert. Served with a scoop of ice cream at side and covered with rich warm chocolate sauce, this Chef Abhi’s recommendation really surprised me with his special sweet chocolaty filling, not to be missed for serious chocoholic lovers out there.
