Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently get to try out Tai Thong’s latest dim sum promotion, the Black Temptations that’s rolling out 4 dim sum specialties from 1 August till 31 October 2015.
Glutinous Dumplings (RM6.80)
Wrapped nicely with a pandan leave, the fragrant sesame paste filling just oozed out from the soft chewy glutinous dumpling after one bite. If your mouth is big enough, I would recommend putting the whole dumpling into your mouth and enjoy the aromatic sesame taste burst till your brain. Lovely!
Pan Seared Dumplings (RM9.80)
Creatively presented in the Yin Yang style, chef stuffed these dumplings with fish paste and cheese, which surprisingly to me the savory cheese taste matched quite well with the aromatic fish paste.
Charcoal Buns (RM9.80)
Durian lovers will light-up with smiles with these charcoal buns that filled with durian paste and salted egg-yolk custard, a not-so-ordinary ‘lau sar pau’ that you just can’t get your hands off!
Chilled Coffee Jelly Cake (RM5.80)
Made with dark coffee and milk coffee, this smooth wobbly chilled jelly really nice with robust coffee flavor, a nice ending after savoring all the warm and creamy dim sums.

Woah, it looks great! Personally, I think that black themed dimsums look more sophisticated and elegant than regular colourful dimsums.
