Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently got the chance to try out the new Mission 6-Grain Wrap at The Daily Habit café in Bangsar Shopping Centre. Latest addition to Mission Foods Malaysia’s healthy wraps, it has a grainier and nuttier texture, which comes from the superfood combination of sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, oats, rye, linseeds and wholemeal brans.

Mission 6-Grain Wrap is the wrap of choice for those seeking healthier alternatives to regular white bread or rice, at breakfast or at any time of the day. The grains in the new 6-Grain Wrap are is a good source of fibre, antioxidants, vitamin B and minerals, which contribute to overall health and well-being. Fibres are especially effective in boosting immunity, reducing cholesterol and the risk of heart diseases.

“Eating healthy for most people is a change in lifestyle. It may appear daunting but its actually easy to eat healthy, we just need to be more mindful in our basic choices, to take in more fibre than processed food for instance. Like any change in lifestyle, take it one step at a time,” advised Marissa Parry, the Health and Wellness Director of PurelyB.

Marissa also shared a hunger scale formula to help understand when its best to eat, and when to stop eating.

Healthy-eating advocate Marissa Parry demonstrated two easy recipes for breakfast using Mission 6-Grain Wrap, Eggplant and Tempe Wrap and Peanut Butter Banana Wrap.

The all-new wraps have a delicious deep nutty taste with a beautiful texture that complements any sort of filling. The delicious yet easy recipes can be whipped up at home in minutes for wholesome food for the family.

Opt to start the day with a power brekkie of Smoked salmon, egg, avocado and micro sprouts in a wrap or a simpler Scrambled egg and wild mushrooms in a wrap or go Asian with Aloo Gobi, Raita and Scrambled eggs served with Mission 6-Grain.

Mission 6-Grains was enjoyed slightly toasted with a yoghurt, fruit and compote, made into an incredibly appetizing Cinnamon French Toast, enjoyed with Cottage Cheese, Berries & Honey in a wrap and with Turkey, Ham and spinach frinata in a roll.

“Malaysians are becoming increasingly aware of the need to eat clean and lead a healthier life without compromising taste. ‘Healthy meals’ is the current buzzword. To support this mission we created a wrap that’s loaded with superfoods, yet versatile enough to be prepared in various ways, and delicious even on its own. We hope to inspire more people to start on their journey to a cleaner, healthier diet” said Randall Tan, Brand Manager of Mission Foods South Asia.
