Thanks for the wonderful invitation from TAP by Seeties, I recently went to BingSu Cafe at Damansara Uptown to try out their delectable Korean desserts. Equipped with simple and clean deco, BingSu Cafe provides a chill comfortable ambience for customers to meet up over good desserts, great drinks and have loads of laughs.

Highly popular in Korea, bingsu is a shaved ice dessert with sweet toppings such as fresh fruits, condensed milk, sweet syrup, red bean paste and many others more.

Before you try any flavors, remember to sample this original classic Injeolmi Red Bean Bingsu (RM13.90) that served with fine-shaved milk, sticky chewy injeolmi (Korean glutinous rice cakes), almond sliced, covered fully with yellowish Korean roasted soybean powder and finally topped with sweet creamy imported red bean paste. The texture was so soft and light, it literally melted in your mouth effortlessly!

Super love the fresh frangrant mango that served in this Mango Cheese Bingsu (RM17.90) together with sourish cranberries, cheese and a scoop of creamy ice cream.

Every girl’s favorite here, the Belgian Chocolate Bingsu (RM17.90) with brownie cubes, shaved chocolate, sweet chocolate powder and topped with a scoop of rich flavor Belgian chocolate ice cream. A dessert not to be missed for the chocoholics.

Save the best for last, this Durian Mango Bingsu (RM18.90) is definitely to die for! With a scoop of homemade D24 ice cream and slices of real durian cubes placed around the bingsu, this is surely the ultimate indulgence especially if you are a fanatic durian lover.

Available in Chocolate, Vanilla, Durian, Espresso, Pistachio and Rocher for the ice cream range, as well as Banana, Cempedak, Soursop, Lime, Raspberry and Coconut for the refreshing sorbet range, the tastes were so heavenly, it’s bound to leave you for wanting more!

Waffle served at BingSu Cafe was so enjoyable! Crunchy on outer layer while soft and warm inside, diners can choose either the Banana Caramel (RM14.90) or Double Berry (RM14.90) flavor, which tasted equally delicious to me.

Still unsure about the mango cheese bingsu LOL I do hope they cut the cheese smaller though. I predict that I will finish the cheese cubes before the ice!

I don’t really like Korean cuisine but I don’t mind their desserts. I wonder when BingSu will be coming to Ipoh!
