Thanks for the wonderful invitation, I recently went to Paramount Garden at Petaling Jaya to try out some of Gossip Time‘s signature local foods that are delicious without burning the wallet.

Warm homey dining environment with simple and clean setting

The chef cum owner, Mr Kavin Heow has another restaurant Gossip Corner located at Cameron Highlands, which is famous for the springy wantan noodles and giant burger challenge.

A collage of photos show all the happy customers that dined at Gossip Corner and Gossip Time before.

Fried till golden brown crisp, these Chicken Wings (RM8.90 for 4 pieces) made a wonderful appetizer snack with its tender and flavorful meat.

Mushroom Chicken Rice Set (RM8.90)

Just picturing this dish alone is enough to make one salivate. Prepared using tender chicken, potato chunks and dry shitake mushroom, the thick and creamy gravy make it the perfect combination for a flavorful satisfying meal that served together with steamed white rice, sunny side up, crispy papadom and sliced veggie.

Special Curry Chicken Rice Set (RM8.90)

After numerous of trying and testing, Chef Heow have finally perfected the secret recipe for his best-selling curry chicken dish. Fresh milk was used instead of coconut milk for the health concerned customers, yet the ‘home-cooked’ flavor and rich creamy texture are still there to satisfy the cravings. Really good stuff, one which I truly enjoyed.

Special Satay Sauce Chicken Chop Rice (RM14.50)

There’s just something so addictively good about this pan fried chicken chop that served with tender chicken thigh covered with Gossip Time’s homemade special satay sauce. I wish to have more flavorful satay sauce for my rice as well.

Gossip Prawn Wantan Mee (RM8.90 regular ; RM9.90 large)

Simple comfort noodle dish made with passion and love, this springy handmade wantan mee by Chef Heow’s sifu was served together with minced pork and flavorful pork bone soup that had been boiled for 10 hours, accompanied by generous portion fresh and succulent whole prawn dumplings. A dash of sesame oil was added in too for the extra fragrance.

The wantan noodles at Gossip Time are made fresh every 2 to 3 days and it does not contain any boric acid, preservative nor artificial colouring. A dash of sesame oil was added in too for the extra fragrance.

If you prefer spicy version, try their Curry Chicken Wantan Mee (RM8.90 regular ; RM9.90 large), which served with flavorful curry gravy that cooked with fresh milk for a healthier option.

Spicy Noodle King (RM9.90 regular ; RM10.90 large)

For the extra super spicy sensation, Gossip Time presents you their signature Spicy Noodle King that served with springy wantan mee. A delicate medley of 7 different ingredients including dried shrimps and spring onions, this secret recipe chili sauce can certainly blow your mind away!

Gossip Burger King (RM24.90)

With diameter of 8″ and 7″ in height, this was probably the BIGGEST burger I’ve ever seen! Served with well-flavoured pan fried pork or chicken fillet, and piled high together with lettuce, tomatoes, zucchini, onions, pineapple, omelette and two big sesame buns, I definitely can’t finish this myself and will need lot of helpers. Chef Heow also served a bowl of his signature curry gravy at side for customers to eat with the sesame bun.

There’s this on-going challenge at Gossip Time to look for the fastest Burger King eater. Current champion clocked in 5 mins 21 sec and if you think you can beat the current record, come and accept the challenge, you will be rewarded the entire burger for free.

Gossip Time also serves Steamboat dish with Chef Heow’s special pork bone soup and spicy soup that boiled for long hours to get the rich flavor. Priced at RM24.90 per pax (minimum 2-pax per order), the steamboat set comes with fresh seafood, chicken, pork, fishball, mushroom, crabmeat, foo chok, noodles, egg and special Fu Zhou meatball that has meat filling inside. Gossip Time also very generous to the steamboat diners with free refill of vegetables, up to 3 choices and unlimited!

The fare looks as usual but I bet they are delicious. The name of this eatery somehow makes me think that it’s going along the lines of “Chat time”. LOL
