Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently went to Pince & Pints and check out their famously well-known speciality menu of lobsters prepared in 5 sensational ways, a first-of-its-kind concept in Kuala Lumpur.

Located at the busy street of Jalan Telawi 5 Bangsar, Pince & Pints Restaurant and Bar, which was founded in Singapore in 2014, is a quintessential lobster bar in Kuala Lumpur with casually sophisticated atmosphere, serving classic and contemporary lobster dishes, reminiscent of the New England’s cuisine.

Lobsters are air flown live from the waters of Boston, Maine and Canada twice a week to Pince & Pints’ own holding facility with specifically tuned-in conditions to maintain the freshness of each lobster. No lobster stays more than 7 days in the restaurant to ensure that the lobsters served are always top quality – meaty, juicy and fresh.

All food items on the menu are priced at a standard RM158++, and every dish comprises of a whole lobster portion.

Served with straight cut fries with skin, creamy garlic aioli and house salad, this superb Lobster Roll was my absolute favorite with hearty chunks of fresh lobster meat tossed in mayonnaise and salt, before stuffed in a “top split” homemade bun.

The only spicy version at Pince & Pints, chef cooked this Chili Lobster with a special house blend chili gravy that enveloped the whole portion of fresh lobster. An homage to its Singaporean roots, mantou (fried buns) were served along too for you to soak up all the addictive mouth-watering sauce.

Exclusive to Pince & Pints Kuala Lumpur only, this plate of lip-smacking Lobster Noodles was served with large chunks of shell-on lobster that stir fried with scallions and ginger in a lightly seasoned sauce. Continue to deliver exceptional cuisine that exceeds the diners’ expectations, the chili oil that served along enhanced the freshly made egg noodles even tastier.

Whether one’s tastes lean toward Steamed or Grilled, Pince & Pints is ready to tempt even the pickiest taste buds with a Whole Live Lobster cooked to perfection. Served with straight cut fries with skin and house salad, the homemade herbed butter sauce made a perfect combination for a truly satisfying meal.
