Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently went to Dynasty Restaurant at Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel to sample the festive menu that captures the finest flavors of Cantonese cuisine, specially prepared by Executive Sous Chef Kok Chee Kin and his team of talented chefs in celebration of the Chinese New Year.

Available from 18 January to 22 February 2016, treat your senses with exquisite festive feasts at Dynasty Restaurant, which include Treasure Pot, luxurious Set Menus, auspicious Dim Sum selection, as well as prosperity Yee Sang.

Dynasty Restaurant offers 6 types of Yee Sang – Fruity Fiesta, Salmon, Salmon and Smoked Salmon, Lobster and Salmon, Mini Abalone and Salmon, and Three Treasure accompanied with crunchy vegetables, crackers and condiments. Available in “half serving” and “full serving,” take-away Yee Sang can also be arranged for home reunion dinners and special get-togethers.

A great dish for dine-in or take-away at any Chinese New Year reunion dinner is the Treasure Pot or Poon Choy that is stacked with layer upon layer of premium ingredients such as Whole sun-dried scallop, Fish maw, Stuffed dried oyster, Whole abalone, Money bag, Sea cucumber, Tiger prawns, Portions of suckling pig, Coral clam, Goose web and a lot more.

Suitable for 5 persons, the Prosperity Treasure Pot is priced at RM398 nett and the Golden Prosperity Abalone Treasure Pot is RM888 nett.

Another must-have of the season is the Clay Pot Waxed Meat Rice, a classic Chinese New Year dish priced at RM39 nett per portion. Diners should also check out the selection of Dim Sum specially crafted by Chef Kin for the festive season available daily for lunch. Or ask the serving staff for the a la carte menu offering a variety of Cantonese specialties and the Chef’s signature dishes.

    Yee Sang looks so mouth watering. love they put in the fresh ingredients, my favourite type of yee sang, would encourage everyone to get one of these as the supermarket one is not tasty!

    The presentation of the food looks very inviting i home they taste as good as they look LOL.
    And the prices are reasonable considering the place were one would be dining. Its a good deal for chinese new year
