Thanks for the wonderful invitation, I recently went to Brotzeit Bier Bar & Restaurant to check out their Eisbein, a cured pork knuckle that’s simmered for few hours in broth till tenderly soft.

Be it for business or pleasure, Brotzeit German Bier Bar & Restaurant offers authentic German cuisine and premium biers from the Paulaner family, within its modern and contemporary setting. Indeed, it is the ideal place to experience Germany at its finest!

Specially crafted by Chef Helmut, Brotzeit offers diners 2 choices for the mouth-watering Eisbein, in German style or ‘Bak Kut Teh’ style.

Priced at RM68 per set, the German style Eisbein was served together with sauerkraut, mashed potatoes and accompanied with hot mustard sauce.

For local people who can’t live without their rice, Chef Helmut created this Asian ‘Bak Kut Teh’ Eisbein accompanied with steamed white rice, spicy chili padi, garlic and soy sauce. The soup is in clear type because chef does not want the taste too overwhelming than the flavorful meat.

Available daily till end of March 2016 in limited quantity, do give it a try if you are a serious pork lover. After the promotion ends, customers can also pre-order this heavenly Eisbein from Brotziet at least 3 days because of the meat curing process.

Looks yummy but it also looks like too much of pork for me. I like my meal with more vegetables.

Oh gosh that pork knuckle looks so tender, falling off the bone. Pork knuckles are filled with so much collagen too although girls still need to watch out!
