Satisfy customers’ cravings with the finest ingredients they can find, this almost 2 kg Grouper Fish Head (RM6 per 100g) is a well-known seafood dish in Sekinchan. Using dry chili as the main ingredient, chef steamed this fish head in SiChuan Style together with dry chili paste and chopped dry chili for the abundance of flavors.

Owner also explained to us that the fish head need to be in this big size so that the skin will have a nice chewy texture. I am not really a fish skin lover but agreed to the owner after tasted a small bite.

Originated from China, owner introduced us to this Gao Feng Grouper Fish Head (RM38), a dish that I seldom encountered in Malaysia. Boiled for long hours with pork bone, fish head and chicken, the clear soup had a really nice sweet taste with fragrant from the good quality yam with starchy texture.

Popular dishes amongst Singaporean including this Chili Crab (seasonal price) that’s cooked according to the owner taste buds. Stir-fried in a creamy tomato chili based sauce, how I wish to have more mantou buns to soak up all the wonderful essence of that sweet and spicy gravy.

Just picturing this dish alone is enough to make one salivate! Chef cooked the Curry Pork Ribs (RM16 ; RM22 ; RM28) together with coconut milk and fresh milk for a creamier texture and extra fragrance. Each spoon of the delicious gravy tasted so heavenly for me.

There’s just something so addictively good about these Prawn Paste Chicken Wings (RM12 ; RM18 ; RM24). Deep fried till golden brown crisp, you will need to taste it yourself for a mouth-watering experience unlike any other.

I have been there for their fish head steamboat. Do agree with you that we need to consume fast or else after boiling for sometime, the soup starts to get salty. But overall the taste is great!
