Thanks for the wonderful invitation, I recently went to Sangkaya Jalan Alor for their latest offering, the Durian Chendol which available from 24 June 2016 until the durian season ends.
The King of Fruits is back! Durian season is finally here in Malaysia and what better way to enjoy this unique and distinctive fruit than to pair it with chendol, the famous classic Malaysian dessert!
The Sangkaya Durian Chendol has the classic Malaysian dessert topped with 3 scoops of Sangkaya Signature original coconut ice cream plus a whole piece of durian! Love the combination of Sangkaya creamy nutty coconut ice cream paired with that luscious piece of durian, which bring a sense of euphoria to your taste buds.
You can also try their Chendol (RM10.50), which is slightly different from others, served with Sangkaya’s signature coconut ice cream, grass jelly, chendol, peanuts, corn, coconut flesh and gula Melaka syrup for the sweetness. The Chendol does not have santan (coconut milk) in it, but as you eat and let the coconut ice cream melts, you will still get the nice creamy texture.

Each bowl of Sangkaya Durian Chendol is selling at RM13.50 (inclusive GST) and for avid durian fans out there, you can top up an additional piece of durian for only RM3.50.
Selling only a limited number of bowls starting from 5pm daily, make sure you head on down early to Sangkaya Jalan Alor and grab a bowl before they are all sold out.

My boyfriend would love this since he practically tortured me by buying durian home even after I expressly said I didn’t like the smell. Haha, can’t keep durian fans away.
