Thanks for the wonderful invitation, I recently went to The Nai Cafe and sampled their signature Udang Galah dishes.

Located near the housing area at Denai Alam, the restaurant is very convenient and easy to find from Guthrie Highway. You can smell the aroma of delicious cooking even before you enter the restaurant!

With very affordable pricing range from RM12.90 to RM14.90, diners can enjoy varieties of Udang Galah dishes prepared in different styles, such as Nasi Goreng, Kuey Teow Goreng, Char Kuey Teow, Mee Goreng, Stir Fried, Masak Lemak Cili Padi, Sambal Tumis, Tom Yam Soup, Spicy Cream Butter and Assam Pedas.

According to Wiki, Udang Galah or its scientific name Macrobrachium Rosenbergii, is also known as Giant Freshwater Prawn and it is a species of freshwater shrimp native to the Indo-Pacific region, northern Australia and Southeast Asia.

Loaded with taste-tempting hot sourish flavors, the Udang Galah is so big till it is barely fit into the Clay Pot Tom Yam Soup.

My personal favorites would be the Udang Galah in Sambal Tumis and Masak Lemak Cili Padi. Packed with rich flavors and creamy texture, the dishes easily captured the taste buds of Malaysians. I can have extra plate of rice to go just with the appetizing gravy.

With a menu that caters to different taste buds, you can order your Char Kuey Teow in Basah, Lembab, Kering Lembab or Kering Garing, it’s all about your satisfaction here at The Nai Cafe.

Besides Udang Galah dishes, The Nai Cafe’s menu also features a selection of popular Malaysian delicacy, there is definitely something delicious for everyone. For a mouth-watering experience unlike any other, remember come to Denai Alam and look for The Nai Cafe.
