Thanks for the wonderful invitation, I recently went to Dynasty Restaurant for their festive menu of Malaysia International Gastronomy Festival 2016 (MIGF).
High octane Executive Sous Chef Kok Chee Kin is thrilled to showcase his 4-course high-powered cuisine set that will send your taste buds into overdrive at Dynasty Restaurant.
A master at bringing together contrasting tastes and textures to create unique, full bodied dishes, Chef Kin meticulously prepares his creation with his signature immaculate presentation as evidenced by his appetizers platter, which consists of XO fortune money bag with bean curd folder, crispy pork belly with apple and seafood wrapped in rice paper.
Who can resist the flavorful tummy warmer Lobster Consommé which served together with morel mushroom, fresh crab meat and sea treasure.
Taste the flavours of the Orient with this truly classic Chinese dish of braised boneless duck leg, dried seafood and whole abalone. I like the tenderness of the duck meat, simply divine to indulge. Digging into the whole succulent abalone is another wholesome gastronomical experience, superb!
Still have room in your stomach? Perhaps this mouth-watering flat noodles dish can fill it up together with a scrumptious king prawn to please your palate.
We ended our festival menu with desserts of nutritious double boiled bird’s nest and aloe vera in coconut, as well as golden potato, egg yolk custard and traditional alkaline cake in beautiful presentation, which seamlessly blur the line between traditional and contemporary Chinese cuisine.
Having participated in the MIGF for a number of years, Chef Kin knows exactly the high standards that diners at Dynasty expect of him. “Flavor is always at the forefront of my mind when I create a special menu and the food presentation itself must be pleasing to the eyes in order to satiate a high octane hunger,” said Chef Kin.
The 4-course Festival Menu is priced at RM250 nett per person and RM320 nett per person with two glasses of wine (Woodbridge Sauvignon Blanc and Vina Carmen Gran Reserva Merlot, Chile). Festival diners will also enjoy a host of privileges such as:

With a seating capacity of 168 and three (3) private dining rooms, Dynasty Restaurant is steeped in rich Chinese heritage, from the luminous lantern shaped fixtures to the warm wooden panelling. The restaurant is lined on one side by floor-to-ceiling windows offering a spectacular look at the world-famous Petronas Twin Towers and the bustling Jalan Ampang in the foreground.
