Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently had the opportunity to sample some refined taste of Green Tea Treats deliciously produced by Pablo Cheese Tart Malaysia.

Using good quality of Uji Matcha, this Freshly Baked Matcha Cheese Tart (RM49.90) comes with a delicious center filled with azuki red bean paste and chewy shiratama mochi to complement the tart’s soft creamy texture.

Matcha Cheese Frute (RM15.90) served with shiratama, a chewy rice flour dumpling. The sweetness of azuki (red bean) flavoured whipped cream nicely balanced up the green tea’s earthiness taste, I like this Japanese-style drink.

Selling at RM36.90 per box of 9 pieces, this best-seller Sabrel Cheese Matcha has a nice smooth filling made from mascarpone cream cheese and sandwiched between the green tea cookie bases. A satisfying bittersweet taste of matcha in your mouth, one piece is definitely not enough!

Matcha Cheese Soft Serve (RM11.90), something special from the ordinary green tea ice cream, it has a hint of saltiness from the cheese, remember try it to taste the difference.

I am a matcha lover and I always look for Uji matcha. Haven’t tried Pablo, since they have just opened here in the Philippines but I have been reading a lot of nice reviews. I will check this out for sure.

Not a fan of green tea, but does the tart taste so ‘greeny’ tea?

Somehow I am not a fan of matcha drinks or dishes. But yes, the pics look very tempting…Curious to taste the green tea and cheese combo.
