Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently had the opportunity to try out Haagen-Dazs’s revolutionary ice cream mooncakes in conjunction with the Mid-Autumn Festival celebration.
It is said that if you look up at the moon, you can see the outline of the Jade Rabbit that lives there. Haagen-Dazs takes inspiration from the myth of the Jade Rabbit to design a whimsical range of ice cream mooncakes, which include Twinkle Crispy (crispy sandwich with ice cream), Twinkle Night Mix (chocolate-coated), Harmony Mochi (available in strawberry and mango) and Lune et Etoiles (coated with dark chocolate and decorated with Parisian-themed chocolate designs).
Comes with strawberry and mango flavours, the Harmony Mochi Collection reflects the simplicity of Japanese culture. Inside the glutinous coating, the mochi is filled with a refreshing and fruity ice-cream. Deonstrated a sense of respect and modest attitude towards the traditional festival, every bite will surely leaves you with a long-lasting and memorable taste.
Inspired by its French origin, the Twinkle Night Mix comes with chocolate coating filled with both classic and fruity ice-cream (chocolate, mango, vanilla and green tea flavours) to pamper you with French romance and culture. This delicious surprise will be sure to excite your friends and family.
Haagen-Dazs and the Moon Rabbit are bringing exotic styles into this traditional Chinese festival. Each collection is like a treasure chest filled with delightful surprises. With elegant yet modern packaging and luxurious mooncake designs, each collection combines a touch of France with flavors from the Orient. The refreshing sweetness of Haagen-Dazs ice cream will tantalize your taste buds with every bite.
To best enjoy your Haagen-Dazs ice cream mooncake, remember to place it into freezer as soon as possible and dispose the dry ice. Temper the ice cream mooncake slowly in chiller 5 minutes prior to serve. Haagen-Dazs mooncakes will remain the best desserts for me to connect with my loved ones for a truly Mid-Autumn Festival celebration.
