Are you adventurous enough to challenge The Torture House?
Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently went to Klang Parade and checked out their new horror attraction, The Torture House, which it is definitely not for the faint of heart!
It is open now until 31st October 2017, from 12 pm until 9 pm on the 5th floor (near K Song Family KTV). Shoppers who spend RM30 (over a maximum of 2 receipts) at Klang Parade will be eligible to redeem 1 entry ticket, though they can also choose to purchase these at RM10 each.
As part of the larger, overarching “What Happened to Amelia?” Halloween campaign, Klang Parade’s Torture House is a dark chapter in the titular character’s past, and shoppers who dare venture into it will be able to catch a glimpse of the numerous torments that produced the murderous Amelia.
“We’ve never launched a Halloween campaign on this scale before, so we are excited to see how the local Klang community responds to it,” commented Mr John Tam, Centre Manager of Klang Parade. “It was tricky at times when we were deciding on whether or not certain elements were scary enough, or if they were a little too much for the community to swallow. It is learning process, but it is definitely an entertaining one.”
The Halloween campaign extends to Klang Parade’s sister locations – 1 Mont Kiara, CITTA Mall, Ipoh Parade, and each mall presents a different perspective on Amelia’s life. Shoppers are invited to visit each of these attractions to complete the horror experience and to speculate what they think really happened to Amelia. The campaign is the first-of-its-kind for all the malls involved, and to generate interest, each of the malls have produced viral videos to promote the attraction at their respective locations.
To the local horror connoisseurs, do come and experience these scary thrills attractions! For latest updates, please check out their website at www.klang.parade.com.my or Facebook page at fb.com/myklangparade.
