Thanks for the wonderful invitation, I recently went to The Westin Kuala Lumpur to sample some of their new delectable dishes from their signature restaurants, Five Sen5es and Prego.

Five Sen5es‘ enhanced menu consisting new exciting pork-free a la carte dishes which embodies an extensive selection of authentic Chinese dishes.

With the principles of enhancing the 5 human senses of Sight, Taste, Scent, Touch and Sound, the presence of these elements are evident in the preparation, cooking and presentation of the spectacular new signature dishes, namely Crispy Salmon Banana Roll with Green Tea Dressing, Minced Duck Fried Rice with Prawn, Yam and Pumpkin Serve in Clay-pot, Fragrant Crispy Vegetables with Roasted Pine Nuts, Honey Glazed Baked Black Code, Slow Roast Beef Spare Ribs with Pineapple and Honey Sauce and Deep Fried Boneless Chicken with Sweet Chili Sauce Topped with Young Mango.

A contemporary Chinese restaurant with traditional yet elegant Chinese elements, Five Sen5es is a perfect choice for your private, business gathering and even wedding function. Enjoy the trendy aesthetic as it transforms from warm and inviting during the day to sensual and inspiring at night. The operating hours of Five Sen5es is 12 noon to 2:30 pm for lunch and 6 pm to 10 pm for dinner.

“I decided to bring back Italy to Bukit Bintang with these new dishes which the concept represents my origins and what I grew up with, adding personal touches from my childhood memories and travels across Italy. Mangia, Mangia, as we say at home,” explained Chef Marco De Cecco.

Whether you want an intimate dinner for two, a power lunch or sit back and relax during our newly launched Viva Italia Sunday Brunch, or grabbing Afternoon Tea, there’s no end to fun and laughter here! The operating hours of Prego is 11:30 am to 2:30 pm for lunch and 6 pm to 10 pm for dinner. Their afternoon tea time is only available from Monday to Saturday 2 pm to 6 pm.
