Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently had the opportunity to sample a wide range of scrumptious and authentic Malaysian Chinese delights proudly presented by the culinary brigade at Swiss-Garden Hotel & Residences Kuala Lumpur.

This year, Swiss-Garden Hotel & Residences Kuala Lumpur has prepared 5 selections of Yee Sang that symbolizes abundance and prosperity.

* Fortune Jelly Fish Yee Sang
RM48++ (half portion) RM58++ (one portion)

* Golden Seasoned Scallop Finger Yee Sang
RM58++ (half portion) RM68++ (one portion)

* Prosperous Salmon Yee Sang
RM78++ (half portion) RM88++ (one portion)

* Auspicious Swiss-Garden’s Yee Sang (mixture of Baby Octopus, Jelly Fish, Scallop Finger and Salmon)

* Fatt Choy Australian Abalone Yee Sang

Chef mixed in some special ingredients like Ribena, Lemon Sauce and Apricot Jam into the traditional plum sauce which gave it a lighter and less sweetened taste that makes you go for more rounds.

The Yee Sang is available daily from now to 5 March 2015, from 12 noon until 9 pm at the Green Treats Delicatessen.

The Chinese New Year Buffet Dinner is available daily from now to 18 February 2015, from 6.30 pm until 10.30 pm at the Flavours Restaurant. It is priced at RM88++ per adult and RM48++ per child from 5 to 12 years old.

Guests can enjoy the refreshing Fish Maw and Mango with Thai Sauce, Szechuan Cold Noodle with Shredded Chicken and nutritious Double Boiled Black Chicken Herbal Soup as delicious starters to kick start your meal with.

The main buffet counter offered a great selection of classical and fusion Chinese cuisines such as Steamed Fish Fillet with Spicy Ginger Sauce, Baked Tiger Prawn with Ginseng Root and Wolfberry, Stir Fried Lamb Slice with Mix Capsicum, Sea Bass Fillet with Thai Three Taste Sauce, Szechuan Braised Ma Po Tau Fu, Braised Udon Noodles and Wok-Fried Rice with Teochew Sauce and Minced Chicken.
