Thanks for the wonderful invitation, I recently went to check out the Mother’s Day promotion by Art of Chimie, where 2 pastry enthusiasts specially created this beautiful cake and delicious croquembouche for their customers to celebrate the coming festive.

For the cake, you can choose from the 4 flavors available (strawberry, orange, dark chocolate or coffee) and 2 fillings (chocolate or vanilla).

Not too overly sweet, I found it just nice for the mothers to indulge guilt free together with her family and friends.

Croquembouche is a classic French dessert consists of choux pastry balls piled into a cone and bound with threads of caramel. Art of Chimie offers 4 flavors of cream filling for customers to choose from, the strawberry, dark chocolate, salted caramel or my personal favorite cream cheese. It has crusty outer layer which I like, and the cream filling is not too heavy in texture, I can consume 4 pieces at once!

Both cake and croquembouche are priced at RM150 each. Customers can have the attractive Mother’s Day topper for additional RM10.
