Thanks for the wonderful invitation, I recently went to Bonne Gilla, a newly opened restaurant at Jalan Berangan (Bukit Bintang area), to sample some of their delicious signatures at a warm and welcoming dining ambiance.
Bonne Gilla Restaurant & Bar is the trendy restaurant and bar of today lifestyle, a pulsating place for friends, family and acquaintances to hangout over lively conversation, cheerful plates, thoughtful drinks and casual indulgence.
Bonne Gilla has a long list of different beverages; this Fruit Fizz (RM20) of mine is one of the non-alcoholic specialties, a refreshing mixture of pineapple, orange, sprite and grenadine.
Some crunchy bread served complimentary before the mains.
There’s just something so addictively good about this deep fried Mozzarella Cheese (RM19) with spicy Pizzaiolla sauce and pesto. My personal favorite among all the dishes we tried since I like cheese. Not heavy in cheesy taste, and the soft warm texture with crunchy outer layer will make you eating non-stop.
For light eaters, try this Smoked Salmon Salad (RM21) that’s served together with fresh healthy ingredients like beetroot, lemon Haloumi cheese, radish and rocket flavored with appetizing shallot Pommery mustard seed dressing.
If you like seafood as much as I do, then this Seafood Soup (RM28) will surely not be disappointed with generous amount of prawns, scallop and clams cooked in spicy broth with tomato essence and zucchini.
So soft, so tender, this braised Black Angus Beef short-rib (RM45) with smoke BBQ liquid is simply awesome! Served together with mustard seed vinaigrette greens, sauteed peas and dirty fries, a highly recommended dish from me for the meat lovers.
Each dish created at Bonne Gilla is bound to cultivate delights in every bite, including this mouth-watering Lamb shank (RM39) with tomato mushroom ragout, cauliflower crumble and mash potato served together.
Diners are really spoilt for choice when it comes to dining at Bonne Gilla. Their fish dishes are equally good as well, like this flavorful Pan Fried Seabass (RM32) together with sautéed potato, green pea and smoke capsicum sauce, the texture was done just nice for my liking.

Pan Fried Seabass would be my favourite to go and the portion is quite big I would say, tq for sharing!
