Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently went to Oriental Chinese Cuisine at Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar for their newly revamped dim sum menu that features up to 50 fine crafted dim sum delicacies.
Guests can also indulge to their hearts’ content with chef’s signature specialities, double-boiled soup and dessert items from the ala carte menu.
Dim Sum Chef Ng Meng Loong from Oriental Chinese Cuisine showcased his creativity through a selection of handcrafted dim sum specialties such as Crispy Duck Skin Rice Rolls, Blue Flower Glutinous Rice with Chicken, Mushrooms & Sun-Dried Scallop, Red Bean Paste with Coconut Milk Bun, Matcha Buns with Pumpkin Paste, Eggplant Shaped Glutinous Rice Balls with Purple Sweet Potato, Rice Ball with Lotus Paste, and many more!
Each dim sum is crafted to complement the freshness of the ingredients and gives it an appetizing twist. Some of my favourite steamed dim sum at Oriental Chinese Cuisine includes Chicken & Prawn Dumplings with Scallop & Flying Fish Roe, Australian Scallop & Shrimps Dumplings, Cuttlefish Dumpling with Black Truffle, and this Chicken & Prawn Dumpling with Cordyceps Flower & Black Garlic.
Available daily from 12 noon to 2:30 pm, the ala carte dim sum are priced between RM17 to RM28. The premium Bird’s Nest desserts are at RM88 each.
