Innovation and creativity have always been synonymous with Crème De La Crème (CDLC). The famed ice cream parlour has up the ante by opening Malaysia’s first NFT-themed ice cream parlour at Sunway Pyramid.

NFTs are non-fungible tokens linked to digital assets such as images or videos. They can be minted as collectable items, avatars in games or certificates to prove ownership of property and objects in the burgeoning virtual world of the metaverse.

Like what The Louvre is for traditional art, enter CDLC Sunway Pyramid and be immersed in a world of popular blue-chipped NFTs, such as Bored Apes Yacht Club, Moonbirds, Doodles, Gutter Cat Gang; historical NFT collections such as PunksVoxels, Dooggies; and trending NFTs like Kiwami Genesis and Imaginary Ones, which are part of an extensive collection of the ice cream chain.

CDLC aims to provide the NFT-loving community with a collaborative space to immerse themselves in all things NFTs while being inspired by its celebrated artisanal ice creams and petits gâteaux. At CDLC Sunway, one will enjoy exclusive flavours that are especially conceptualised for this NFT-themed parlour and inspired by none other than the most popular NFTs.

Artisanal Ice Creams

Bored Ape
Made from delicious French milk chocolate ice cream swirled with caramelised bananas and freshly baked chocolate crumble, this flavour is anything but boring and will leave you going bananas.

CryptoPunk
Inspired by the Alien-skin of CryptoPunk #5822 which sold for a record-breaking USD23.7 million, this creamily rich ice cream is handcrafted from Australian cream cheese ice cream swirled with Butterfly Pea Flower ice cream and decadently decked with burnt cheesecake chunks.

Doodles
Using only 100% natural ingredients such as Butterfly Pea Flower, lychee sorbet, peach sorbet, and Madagascar vanilla ice cream to create the fantasy colour palette of Doodles, this dreamy-looking ice cream sure tastes like a fantasy come true.

Petite Gâteau

Handcrafted from a myriad of premium ingredients that include ultra-grade Kyoto matcha ice cream, coffee ice cream, mascarpone ice cream and homemade coffee spice crumble, this caffeine-packed artistic dessert will keep you up at night and leave you wanting more.

Founder of Crème De La Crème, Lio Lim, explains the concept, “If you are like me and are obsessed with NFTs, we have created the perfect haven for you! The CDLC Sunway NFT ice-cream parlour was a budding concept when NFTs were just gaining traction a year ago. It is conceptualised with the NFT enthusiasts in mind where they can chill, hold meetups, and share their love for NFTs with like-minded members of the community. We took our time to curate the best locale for this ambitious endeavour for our NFT-loving clientele, and we have gotten it right with CDLC Sunway.”

Patrons are welcome to share and display their NFTs on five dedicated LED-display screens by registering their interest with CDLC. CDLC also plans to organise and host NFT meet-ups and events with various NFT thought leaders and fan communities. This will go towards building a symbiotic knowledge based CDLC NFT community that taps on the collective wisdom on trending projects. And in the not too far future, CDLC also looks to become an even more active player in the NFT/crypto space.
