Located on the fourth floor of Pavilion Bukit Jalil, Seniman Cafe is the ideal place for gathering and catching up sessions with friends and families while indulging local favourites that bring back memories!!
They have a spacious open-space dining area that provides a nice relaxing environment for everyone.
A fiesta of Malaysian’s favourite food, Seniman’s menu offers diners who crave for local flavours and those looking for an unforgettable Malaysian food experience. Daging Salai Lomak Berapi, Kari Kambing Jiwa Kacau, Udang Goreng Halba, Daging Kerutup… You can check out their menu online at https://senimancafe.com/dishes.
For appetizer, we had this Gabungan 3 Rasa (RM34), the Seniman’s Symphony Sampling Platter that consists of Tauhu Sumbat Kejora, Sotong Kangkung Terangkat, and Kerabu Daging Bakar Air Asam Kerisik. I always enjoy the sampling platter because I get to taste every bit of the signatures without stuffing my stomach. Highly recommend, you won’t regret to order this!
Enough for two persons, Seniman Cafe offers three different Set Talam menus that feature a variety of local favourites to delight the senses of taste, sight, and smell of diners :
Do (RM62)
Daging Salai Lemak Cili Padi, Ayam Kunyit Palembang, Sotong Sambal Tumis, Nasi Minyak Pengantin, Beverage, Teh Tarik Terbalik
Re (RM72)
Kari Kambing Jiwa Kacau, Ayam Masak Kicap Manis, Udang Goreng Halba, Nasi Kukus, Beverage, Teh Tarik Terbalik
Mi (RM82)
Tulang Sisih Kerutup, Ayam Goreng Pak Kaduk, Ikan Siakap Berlado, Nasi Minyak Pengantin, Beverage, Teh Tarik Terbalik
Each Set Talam comes with various side dish condiments like sambal kelapa pudina, pajeri nenas, sambal belacan tumbuk, and acar jelatah. One thing I found interesting was their Teh Tarik Terbalik where the tea was served upside-down.
Bored with the ordinary pizza? Be bold and adventurous with Seniman Pizza Bisa Bonar that will surely stir your gastronomic senses.
The pizza selection with local ingredient toppings includes Sambal Bilis Petai Power (RM24), Daging Salai Lomak Berapi (RM26), Asam Pedas Lautan Gelora (RM30), Ayam Percik Melambang (RM22), Kerutup Kambing Mak Tiri (RM26), and Kerabu Ulaman Menjerit! (RM20).
We tried the Sambal Bilis Petai Power Pizza and I like it. Their pizza has a unique combination of taste profiles that suits local taste buds very well.
Seniman Cafe also serves individual portion dishes like Mee Mamak 2×5, Mee Kari Udang Bersepai, Mee Rebus Mambang Jingga, and the one we tried, Lontong Kering Wak Labib (RM18), which was presented beautifully with compressed rice cakes in coconut turmeric vegetable gravy.
For those with a sweet tooth, have your pick of their lip-smacking desserts with local flavours such as Pisang Sangai Ice Cream, Apam Nangka Madu Tiga, Chiku, Roti Jala Sira Durian, or Churros, a Spanish and Portuguese dessert that tastes like cinnamon doughnuts with crispy ridges.
