Thanks for the wonderful invitation, I recently went to Seri Pacific Hotel Kuala Lumpur where the chefs at Zende Restaurant have prepared a specially curated buffet dinner in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan. Their “Citarasa Zaman Berzaman” promotion is available from 25th March until 20th April 2023.

Featuring over 200 cultured and traditional buffet spread encompassing delicacies from the Malay, Indian, Chinese, and Western cuisines, it is a wistful culinary experience of nostalgia for all the foodie lovers.

Ranging from a rich selection of appetisers to classic Malay delights featuring local favourites such as the creamy stew-like soup of flavourful boiled onions and other spices known as Sup Gearbox, the must-have-comfort-food of Bubur Lambuk; a meaty spiced congee, Asam Pedas Daging Tetel; a well-known dish amongst the Southern people of Melaka, and so much more, it is a surefire experience on our Malaysian culture.

Feast your eyes and fill your tummy with the other counter stations and relish on an array of local and international delicacies apart from local Malay delights.

Begin your culinary journey with the Seafood on Ice – a crushed bed of ice displaying an array of fresh seafood such as chilled Prawns, Mussels and Scallops and end the journey with one of Zende’s Restaurant speciality – the tender roasted Kambing Panggang served with a variety of sauces.

Complete your feast by indulging in our aperitive creations highlighting the taste of traditional Malay spread local desserts and snacks such as Tepung Pelita, Lepat Pisang, Keria, Rengas and so much more.

The “Citarasa Zaman Berzaman” Ramadan buffet dinner at Zende Restaurant is priced at RM150 per adult and RM75 per child aged 5-12 years old.
