Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently went to Klang Parade for their popular Hot Mama Contest, where 9 finalists outwit and outplay each other on stage for the chance to win over RM20,000 worth of cash and attractive prizes.
Held a week before Mother’s Day on 7th May 2017, Hot Mama Contest offers a platform for women to showcase their talents on stage, proving that motherhood does not put a full-stop to their lives, but simply enriches them.
Amber Chia returned once again as the celebrity judge for Hot Mama Contest, along with beautiful Jazel Lim and Lucky Lee. Amber Chia is the perfect exemplar of a woman who can have it all – successful career, beautiful appearance, and the love of her family.
Baki Zainal worked his magic as emcee charismatically on the stage as he able to converse with the finalists and audiences in Bahasa Melayu, English and Mandarin too.
It was full house with supporters and shoppers of Klang Parade surrounded around the stage to enjoy the Hot Mama Contest.
The 9 finalists showcased their amazing talents on the stage with much confident such as singing, dancing, yoga, and Chinese calligraphy during the second round.
One of the finalists performed how yoga can help her to releases stress mentally and physically from the hectic life between work and family.
Finalists showcased their grace and elegance in the beautiful Evening Gown Session, followed by the Q&A with judges to test their wisdom in answering the tricky questions.
Besides talent showcase by the finalists, this Hot Mama contest also brought exciting live performances to the audiences by Mero and RJVN Dance Crew.
After three rounds of competition, Sally Ho won the tile of Hot Mama 2017, receiving a total of RM13,000 worth of cash and prizes. While 1st runner-up Lee Swee Ling and 2nd runner-up Tina Chen was getting RM8,000 and RM3,500 cash and prizes respectively.
The contest wouldn’t be running successfully without the generous sponsorship from Gintell, Amber Chia Academy, and KEY The School of Etiquette and Image. Gintell also placed a number of display units around the stage area for shoppers to experience themselves their quality products.
