Thanks for the wonderful invitation, I recently went to Palace of the Golden Horses to check out their Business Lunch Menu, which available from Monday to Friday at Carousel International Coffeehouse.

Priced at RM20 nett per person, the Business Lunch Menu comes with one appetiser and one main dish. For appetiser, you can choose between Micro Greens Salad or Soup of the Day. There are five dishes for your main dish selection, namely Mee Kari, Fisherman’s Pie, Char Kway Teow, Spaghetti or Penne Pasta, and Chicken Supreme.

For healthier option, you can pick the colourful Micro Greens Salad that comes with a choice of Thousand Island or Olives Vinaigrette. I had the creamy Mushroom Soup with fragrant garlic bread served at side, perfect to warm my tummy before savouring the main.

Also known as Fish Pie, Fisherman’s Pie is a traditional British dish. The pie is made with oven-baked white fish in creamy white sauce, topped with mushroom and mashed potato for beautiful presentation.

Focusing on the use of quality ingredients while emphasizing on balanced flavors for tasty feasting, the Chicken Supreme with black pepper sauce, mashed potato and buttered peas is highly recommended for the meat lovers.

For pasta lovers, you can have the Spaghetti or Penne Pasta with choices of chicken bolognese, mushroom carbonara or chicken arrabiata sauce.

If you are craving for some Malaysian flavours, this Char Kway Teow is just nice with flat rice noodles cooked together with shrimps, egg, beansprouts, chives and fresh cockles.

Featuring spiced creamy coconut gravy with noodles, chicken and vegetables, the Mee Kari will definitely make one to crave for more with its fragrant aroma and tantalizing flavour.
