Being an active food and lifestyle blogger, I like to visit F&B exhibitions to explore new products in the market. Last weekend, I went to the iFood Expo x iVege Market that was held at Pavilion Bukit Jalil Exhibition Centre for 3 days starting from 9th December 2022.
Here are some of the products I got because of the good deals or I was attracted to try out its taste :
I always like the texture and taste of Indomie instant noodles. I got a few packets of different flavours under their bundle promotion of buy 3 packets at RM12 or buy 5 at RM15.
JMM Cookies offers varieties of interesting biscuits for the coming Chinese New Year celebration, including my favourite flavours like Cheese Pineapple, Matcha Chocolate Cookies, Corn Cookies, Butter Cookies, Cereal Sweet Potato Cookies, and many more.
I also got some dried meat jerky as the Chinese New Year is approaching soon. Ju Bee Hiong offers many delicious flavours for customers to choose from, and their boxes packaging are elegantly designed for festive gifting purpose.
Their OMYPOP Popcorns are round, fluffy and crispy popcorns with thin and even coats of tasty flavours. There are a few flavours to choose from including Heavenly Dark Cocoa, Sour Cream & Onion, Ultimate Baked Cheese, Umami Tomato Ketchup, Secret Smoky Barbecue, Addictive Salted Egg Yolk, and Classic Golden Caramel.
Sourced from the sustainable farms, their top-grade, non-GMO popping corn kernels are whole grain, naturally gluten-free, and a source of fibre. Lovingly heat-popped with no preservatives, no trans fat, and no synthetic colours for a guilt-free, no nasties, and a happier snack-time.
Available in 3 appetizing flavours – Dry Asam Paste, Dry Curry Paste, and Dry Prawn Paste, Nan Yang Yee Mee is best known for its golden-yellowish feature and chewy texture.
Its slightly chewy and spongy texture of the noodles is attributed to the use of soda water in the process of making the dough (as opposed to the use of non-carbonated water), which was then followed by frying and drying until it was completely dried.
Fuel Good Feel Good… Did you know that Camellia Oil is packed with Omega 3s and antioxidants?! Also known as nature’s beauty secret with its high moisture value, you can use it for cooking, consume directly, and even to moisturize skin. Do check out their Flaxseed Oil, Sacha Inchi Oil, and Camelia Oil if you are looking for good organic and natural oil for overall health-being.
Founded in 2017, Herbal Farmer modernizes the traditional industries by providing brand new and fashionable Chinese herbal products and shopping experience. Their carefully selected herb products, flower teas, mushrooms and other ingredients have the “385 Quality Assured”, which is the highest quality medicinal herbs standard in Malaysia.
Some of their signature products include the Gui Fei Gao Liquid, Ginseng Chong Cao Plus Gao, and various scented tea selections that come with different health benefits.
The company is one of the pioneer and leading vegetarian food manufacturing companies and suppliers in Penang. I got their Mala Spicy & Sour Glass Noodle and some crispy snacks (Potato Waffer, Wavy Corn, and Corny Honk) to try out the tastes.
Sungift aims to cultivate a vegetarian lifestyle by promoting various vegetable-derived products. Their plant-based meat uses pea protein with plant raw materials, and natural beets to produce the bright red colour of meat; adds vitamins and minerals, and provides as much protein as real meat.
It does not contain animal ingredients, modified raw materials, artificial colours, preservatives, and additives. What better way to reduce global warming, without sacrificing health and taste!
