Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently went to Delicious and tried out their new menu that features 16 new and improved dishes.
Presented by Steve Allen, CEO of Delicious, who just returned from a research trip of United Kingdom and Barcelona Spain to study the food trends there, the new menu aims to provide great quality food and drinks with a hint to a healthier and more fulfilling lifestyle.
“Simple sauces such as the tomato sauce have now been enhanced by fresh vegetables such as fennel, shallots and leeks as well as fresh herbs including tarragon and parsley,” explained Steve.

Featuring a myriad of fresh local ingredients, this Roasted Pumpkin and Papaya Salad (RM26.50) with coconut and beef serunding garnished on top for the extra bite texture was made even more mouth-watering with the enticing spicy lime dressing. A must order from the new menu if you are a salad person.
Comes with a choice of beef bacon or shredded chicken, I simply adore this Carbonara with Seaweed Egg (RM28) in thick parmesan cream that will send your taste buds into a world of flavorful hearty goodness.
Served with mustard mayonnaise dipping sauce at side, you just can’t get your hands off from these Crunchy Chicken Wings (RM18) that deep-fried till golden brown perfection with a unique sesame and seaweed crust.
Despite the simple presentation, these Pumpkin Risotto Balls (RM13.50) with pesto mayonnaise served at side were quite filling with its own distinctive taste and texture.
There’s always room for me to indulge the delectably-crafted dessert, like this Macadamia and Salted Caramel Cheesecake Sundae (RM17.50) that’s full with irresistible sweetness.
If you prefer your cheesecake not the heavy and creamy type, perhaps this Chocolate and Raisin Cheesecake (RM15) with lighter texture can satisfy your sweet tooth cravings.

Available from January till March, ‘Inspired by Tapas’ is a menu featuring 10 small dishes ranging from RM8 to RM18 to offer guests something different and more choice for everyone to share. Created by Steve and Executive Chef Sandy Alan Rowe, these dishes are inspired by the Spanish famous way of eating, customers can now order up to 5 dishes to share the satisfying meal between 2 people without burning a hole in the pocket.
Creamed Garlic Mushrooms (RM13)
Served together with crunchy croutons, poke the poached egg first before you dig in and let the heavenly yolk give a nice creamy texture to the fragrantly stir-fried mushrooms.
Baked Chicken Thigh (RM15.50)
There’s just something so addictively good about this Romesco sauce that complemented very well with the tender chicken thigh, and I also like the toasted almonds for the bites.
Grilled Beef Skewers (RM18)
Deliciously served together with garlic fried potatoes at side, these beef skewers with tomatoes, red onions and peppers are perfect to be shared over some good laugh and great companion.
This is definitely a tasty dish not to be missed for pumpkin lovers, Baked Pumpkin (RM17.50) with grilled prawns and salad rocket.
