Thanks for the wonderful invitation, I recently went to Palace of the Golden Horses to enjoy a 2D1N relaxing staycation in this world-class award-winning “Asia’s Most Extraordinary Hotel”.

Located 30 minutes away from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport and 15 minutes from Kuala Lumpur City Centre by car, Palace of the Golden Horses is a 5-star hospitality hub with an impressive architecture to match its grandeur.

My spacious deluxe room in bright white modern classic setting. Palace of the Golden Horses houses 472 guestrooms with a wide range of suites, namely the Executive Suite, Minister Suite, Head of State Suite, Host of Nation Suite, and the largest being the 600sqm Golden Suite.

I woke up early to take a stroll at the garden. Stretched my body, took some deep breathe; I felt my stress had relief, and this would be perfect also for people like me who always busy in their daily routine and didn’t get in touch with the nature for a long time.

Whether it is for portrait or scenery shot, this place made a good spot for photography as well.

Take a dip in the outdoor tropical-style swimming pool with soothing greenery view, the perfect place to spend your evening with family or loved ones.

Flowers have always been a symbol of love. The founder, Tan Sri Lee Kim Yew, is an avid orchid-lover and he believes that the beauty of orchid is timeless and classic. Be it purple, white or yellow, there were plenty of fresh orchids showcased at the Grand Salon Lobby Lounge. Guests are welcomed to purchase an orchid flowerpot as loving gift at only RM60 nett each.

Set in a lovely resort environment by the lakeside, I had my buffet dinner at the Carousel International Coffeehouse that serves halal local and international cuisine during my stay. I also had their Hi-tea Indulgence at the newly-refurbished Grand Salon Lobby Lounge before I check out. Unwind at the elegant ambiance of Grand Salon Lobby Lounge, I truly relaxed myself with light music at the background while sampling hi-tea at a cozy atmosphere surrounded by beautiful fresh orchids.
