Thanks for the wonderful invitation, I recently went to WIP that located at the prominent Bangsar Shopping Centre to try out their new revamped menu.

From its beginnings as a Work In Progress to a landmark lifestyle destination, WIP is now Whipped Into Place, and has firmly established itself as a polished diamond glittering in the dining landscape of Kuala Lumpur. Concept inspired from the Nice France and Santorini Greece, WIP offers an elegantly casual ambience with the design feel of an urban-tropic garden.

Kick start your meal with these delectable appetizers, crunchy Tomato Bruschetta (RM22) with cherry tomato and fresh basil served on top the freshly toasted bread, finished with dash of extra virgin olive oil, black pepper and sea salt for the wonderful flavoring.

Served together with chilli mayo sauce and lemon, this crispy School Prawn (RM22) was so addictive to munch on with especially with a glass of chilled beer.

Deep fried bite sized crispy Popcorn Chicken (RM22) served together with grain mustard aioli dipping sauce.

Lovers of innovative beverages will surely rub their hands in glee with resident mixologists creating liquid perfection before your very eyes at the uniquely shaped Clam Bar. A delectable selection of signature cocktails like Mojitos and Martinis, are available to quench your thirst, as are fine whiskies, boutique liquors, premium beers, champagnes and wine.

The highlight of the bar would be the exceptional and refreshing selection of 20 Mojitos, regarded by many as the best in KL. All this is coupled with professional yet affable service standards.

Nice in greenish blue shade, this Bora Bora Mojito contains rum, white wine, blue curacao, mint leaves, lime and lemon wedges.

Light-bodied Muskmelon Sangria with sangria white wine, mango syrup and melon liqueur.

Cosmopolitan cuisine is the direction of WIP’s menu. With inspiration from different continents, the food is prepared with the best and most fresh of ingredients. It is an innovative and creative menu that will surely cater to a wide variety of tastebuds and please any palate.

Choosing one is pretty tough since there are so many choices and they are all super delicious, example this Alaskan Crab Burger (RM46) with crab patty, tomato, lettuce, grain mustard spread, as well as fries and tomato salad served at side.

Loaded with so many delicious ingredients, I like this crispy crusted Triple Trio Supreme (RM38) that served with chicken sausage, chicken ham, grilled chicken, onion ring, cocktail onion, onion marmalade, mozzarella, cheddar and emmental cheeses.

If rice is your staple, give this Arroz de Morisco (RM42) a try, Portuguese seafood rice with soft shell crab, fish, prawn, mussels, clams, olive, coriander and beef chorizo.

A truly delectable fish delight, Garlic Pan Seared Salmon (RM42) that served together with black bean pilaf rice, kale, asparagus and refreshing chilli mango salsa.

Besides western food, WIP also serves tantalizing Asian cuisine, like this Murgh Malai Kebab (RM28), yoghurt marinated chicken breast, Asian slaw, mint chutney and cucumber raita in Lebanese bread.

Beautiful sweet sourish Tropical Pavlova (RM15) that made dining both a fun and visual experience.
