Thanks for the wonderful invitation, I recently went to P.S. Tokyo and sampled some of their signature soft serve ice cream and desserts.
Located same row with BHP pump station in the busy neighborhood of SS2 Petaling Jaya, P.S. Tokyo is a cozy cafe with minimalist industrial style in the layout deco setting. You may need to look up a bit while finding the shop since P.S. Tokyo is opened on the first floor.
Soft serve ice cream is softer and lighter than regular ice cream as a result of air being introduced during freezing. It has been sold commercially since the late 1930s. Soft serve is generally lower in milk-fat than ice cream, and the amount of air alters the taste of the finished product.
P.S. Tokyo serves 3 finest flavors from Uji Kyoto for your soft serve indulgence, namely the Match, Hojicha and Milk, in regular size (RM9.90) or mini size (RM6.90). My personal favorite is the Hojicha that comes with a subtle roasty taste.
For extra flavor and texture, you can also opt for toppings (RM3 each) like Perfecto popcorn, cornflake and so much more.
Be spoilt for choices at P.S. Tokyo with their delectably-crafted cakes too, including this soft creamy Original Tofu Cheese Cake and fragrant Sesame Tofu Cheese Cake (RM12.90 each).
Cater for the mango lover’s taste buds, this Rosy Mango (RM13.90 per slice) has an interesting mix of sponge cake and mousse cake texture, light and refreshing, very enjoyable.
A refreshing and enticing Affogato (RM13.90) combining Milk flavored soft serve ice cream and a shot of hot espresso, this is the perfect ending to our sweet indulgence experience at P.S. Tokyo.
Do check out also the limited Matcha flavored affogato that’s only available during this Christmas promotion.
Take home in your heart the memory and seal it with an instant photo print. The owner offers this ‘#Hash It, Print It’ complimentary service, where customers just need to upload photo to their instagram with hashtag #pstokyo and can self-collect the photos few minutes later. Play with the props around and take selfie, you will never get bored at P.S. Tokyo.
