Inspired by the original British Stout Porter recipe from the 1700s, the Master Brewer crafted their own version of the great Stout Porter with much devoted effort. Containing 5% of ABV, I like its crisp texture, creamy head and gentle roasty undertones that appeals to the modern taste buds.
CONNOR’S Stout was re-launched to CONNOR’S Stout Porter in 2015 to create relevance with young, modern, and discerning stout drinkers looking for an alternative to lager beer that’s balanced in taste.
Offering something different for the special menu, this pan-grilled Smoked Duck Breast (RM48++ with 1 full pint of CONNOR’S Stout Porter) was simply irresistible with tender meat and crispy outer skin. Comes together with homemade mashed potato and sweet fruit compote at side, chef drizzled the Connor’s-infused honey glaze sauce on top the meat upon serving beautifully to diners.
Priced at RM68++ with 1 full pint of CONNOR’S Stout Porter, diners get to sample this tender CONNOR’S Braised Lamb Ribs, which is another proud creation by Group Culinary Director Helvin Han that served together with traditional ratatouille, mashed potatoes and CONNOR’S braised lamb jus.
