Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently went to check out the Coffee House’s new a la carte menu that will jazz up diners with wide selection of scrumptious International and local delights. The Coffee House, located at level 9 of Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur offers a variety of Western, Asian and Middle Eastern delicacies, both tasteful and distinctive. The restaurant has a perfect setting for a truly relaxing ambience. It can accommodate up to 300 dining guests at one time.
The restaurant serves daily buffet breakfast, a la carte for lunch and dinner (daily) and also an array of set menus (lunch daily). Some of the highlights of the new a la carte menu includes Lobster Cantonese Noodles, Nasi Lemak Gunung Berapi, Fried Noodle Mamak Style, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Penang Famous Char Kway Teow, Homemade Classic Burger, My Chicken Chop and Spaghetti Aglio Olio with Prawns.
These main courses are also be served as Set Lunch Menu at attractive price of RM25 nett per set (daily from 11 am to 10:30 pm). For each set menu, diners can opt one of this main dish and enjoy a delectable dessert of the day with a cup of freshly brewed coffee or tea. Simply irresistible!
Calling for seafood lovers, look at the size of this big lobster prawn! It is really value-for-money if you order Lobster Cantonese Noodles (RM44 nett) under the Set Lunch Promotion for just RM25 nett only.
Who can resist a plate of delicious Penang Famous Char Kway Teow (RM31 nett) with full of wok-hei! Chef fried the flat rice noodles together with cockles, chicken, fish cakes, bean sprouts, chives, and big prawns in fragrant chili paste to capture your taste buds with satisfaction.
Whether you choose beef or chicken patty for your Homemade Classic Burger (RM34 nett), this dish will not disappoint you sandwiched with lots of ingredients like Portobello mushroom, grilled onions, gherkin in mayo, sunny side-up, and with either crispy beef bacon or chicken slice.
Served with salad, baked beans, and fries at side, you can choose to enjoy My Chicken Chop (RM41 nett) either deep fried in breadcrumbs or grilled chicken thigh. My preference would go with the mushroom ragout, but the addictive black pepper sauce is equally good in taste too. I wish I can have both choices, can I?
Too many tempting choices and not sure which to choose? Well, you won’t go wrong with the local favourite Nasi Lemak Gunung Berapi (RM29 nett). By looking at the fluffy santan rice, appetizing condiments and hot fiery sambal already made me want to dig in and feast!
