Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently discovered a great place to chill out in Seremban with delicious foods coupled with creative beverages and lively atmosphere. Jigger & Shaker, where you can expect a lavish menu prepared by an Egyptian Chef of international standards focusing on both local and international cuisine, while live band serenades you to toe-tapping easy listening numbers.
Located around 50 minutes drive from Kuala Lumpur, you can find Jigger & Shaker inside the d’Tempat Country Club at Bandar Sri Sendayan, Seremban. The restaurant and bar has a casual yet vibrant ambiance and terrace seating overlooking the pool.
Hibiscus Rose Sparkler (RM22) presented in beautiful red colour, a refreshing non-alcoholic beverage with that aftertaste of frizzy sweetness.
I like this Seafood Bomb II (RM35) a lot, highly recommended if you are lover for creamy cheesy foods like me! Filled with fresh seafood ingredients like baby octopus, mussels, clams, prawns, shrimps and squid in a sourdough bread bowl, this dish was certainly designed to please your palate.
Appetizing Beef Burger (RM32) with charcoal buns, as well as fries, mashed potato and greens at side. The house-made thick beef patty (250g) was juicy and flavourful, paired with creamy cheezy sauce, truffle dip, caramelized onion, egg and gherkin, it is just the way I like it!
Whether you like it to be olive oil base, cream sauce or tomato sauce, you can definitely find something you like from their wide selection of pasta menu. My personal favourite would be this Beef Stroganoff Pasta (RM42) consisting of rib-eye slices, mushroom and asparagus.
Want a bit of seafood and meat for your meal? This Surf & Turf (RM68) with Australian grain-fed rib-eye steak, tiger prawn, mashed potato, mushroom, and asparagus would be the ideal choice to please your taste buds with flavourful wholesome experience. It comes with a choice of blue cheese sauce or red wine sauce. I personally like the Portobello mushroom, juicy with firm texture, always my favourite.
Their homemade hand toss pizza is worth checking out too for the wide varieties, from classic Margherita Pizza to something unexpected like Pizza Mutton Varuval. We had the BBQ Chicken Pizza (RM36) which topped with tomato sauce, Mozzarella cheese, chicken sliced, green pepper and jalapeno.
We also tried out Jigger & Shaker’s new dessert, the housemade Cinnabon (RM16) that’s served with raspberry, dark chocolate or caramel sauces. Enjoy the sweet flavourful bun while it is warm. I like to have a bite together with a spoon of ice cream to have that fun hot-cold effect inside my mouth.
Just want to chill out and relax with some music? You can always hang around the bar and enjoy Live Band Performance at Jigger & Shaker every evenings of Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
While enjoying the live music, I had my Grapes Rosemary Gin and Tonic (RM39), one of their signature cocktails that is light and suitable for ladies with a mixture of gin, white wine, grapes, rosemary and lemon juice.
If you like Somersby, the bar has an ongoing promotion for RM21 per bottle and RM75 per bucket of 5 bottles (no mixing).
Eating spree anyone? Happening in the whole month of September, take up the challenge and the fastest to gobble down a burrito wins cash voucher from Jigger & Shaker worth up to RM500!
