Thanks to the wonderful invite, I recently had the chance to sample some simple delicious food at Bmon Cafe, a comic themed cafe that located in the busy neighborhood of Kota Damansara.

Furnished with comfortable homey-style fixtures, Roy, the owner of Bmon Cafe, showcased his talented artworks through the hanged paintings and hand-drawn murals on the wall. With tagline ‘Enjoy Tastes In A Different Way‘, Bmon Cafe offered an interesting cozy space for diners to escape from the conventional restaurant setting, it was an ideal place for customers to sit down and unwind together with good foods, as well as Bmon, Mel (Bmon’s girlfriend) and Phant Phant, their adorable pet.

Fruit Mayo Salad (RM10.90)
The perfect combination of different textures for a satisfying salad dish. Love the crunchiness from croutons, fresh fruits and mixed greens, as well as my favorite raisins for the natural sweetness taste.

Mushroom Wrap (RM12.90)
Using button mushroom, golden mushroom, oyster mushroom, shitake mushroom and a bit of portobello mushroom as the flavorful filling, this wrap was definitely a must-try for the true mushroom enthusiasts. Served with fries, Bmon Cafe also offered Chicken Mayo Wrap and Tuna Mayo Wrap for customers to choose from.

Turkey Ham Sandwich (RM14.90)
Served together with simple salad and crispy fries, this soft fluffy croissant sandwich with turkey ham, cheese, cucumber and tomato slices will be just nice for your quick and light meal.

Filled with wholesome ingredients like the refreshing salad, toast bread, beef bacon, soft creamy scrambled eggs, baked beans, sauteed mushrooms, jumbo sausage and crispy hash browns, this was a plate of perfect combination for my satisfying meal.

Bmon Cafe served 2 simple pasta dishes to cater the noodle lovers. Delicious and wallet-friendly, these flavorful Chicken / Beef Bolognese and Chicken Mushroom Carbonara (RM13.90) tasted just nice for my own taste buds.

Hippo In A Pond (RM14.90)
Meticulously prepared by Bmon Cafe’s talented chef, this potato croquette with a whole egg inside was coated with breadcrumb first before deep fried it till a nice golden brown. Garnished with chicken floss, corn, chicken ham, lettuce, mayo and lastly poured the cheese sauce all over the dish, it was really hard for everyone to resist as it was that addictive. Potato and cheese, oh so yummy!

Crispy outside but soft and fluffy inside, Bmon Cafe served their Waffle with 3 choices of toppings, the peanut butter (RM7.90), sweet maple syrup (RM8.90), as well as ice cream and fruits (RM12.90).
