Thanks to the lovely invitation, I recently had the chance to join some blogger friends for the Blogger’s Day Out event hosted by Klang Parade.

Klang Parade celebrated their grand launch recently, marking the completion of several fundamental asset enhancement initiatives that have transformed the mall into the modernistic community retail hub it is today.
The massive makeover is the brainchild of the mall’s owners ARA Asset Management Limited, who commenced refurbishment work at Klang Parade in June 2013, introducing structural additions to the mall including large common areas such as two new atriums. The mall also underwent extensive interior reconfiguration to include new travelators and improved vertical transportation, all to ensure better circulation within the property and to make the mall more conducive for shoppers.
“Klang Parade has been an iconic landmark in the hearts of its people and it has served them well for many years, but we knew it could go further,” explained June Lim. “The retail scene has changed, people’s habits have changed, thus so must Klang Parade. A mall must remain relevant to the community it serves, adjusting to the changing times and evolving to cater new desires and needs of its people.”

Surprise energetic dance performance by Peanut Butter Studio (www.facebook.com/PeanutButterStudioMy), the rejuvenate dance crews from 8tv Showdown and Astro Battleground, to kick start our fun Blogger’s Day Out.

Next, we stopped at Firezone Family KTV (www.firezonefmktv.com) for some singing and mingle session. With outlets opened at Danau Kota, Kota Damansara, Setapak, Taman Melati, Sri Gombak and Klang, Firezone Family KTV is a one stop family KTV with facilities like wifi, cafe, snack and pool.

Equipped with nice karaoke system, everyone had a great time singing their heart out in this chic-decorated private room. We were treated with some light snacks and drinks as well during the karaoke session.

I like the spacious and comfortable ambience, perfect to host private functions or some fun gatherings like our exciting Blogger’s Day Out.

We had wonderful time at the Circus Circus arcade centre, a fun-filled entertainment zone suitable for the whole family. Everyone seemed so happy and enjoyed with a lot of laughs. Great to de-stress from the tiring mind, I played few games as well together with blogger friends and even won some lucky candies from an arcade machine before we left Circus Circus.

We were then split up into three groups for the Amazing Mall Hunt, where each group had to perform a specific task at selected tenants of the mall. First stop, we need to take selfie with our favorite soft toys here at Little Hearts.

Little Hearts is a shop that sold a lot of cute plush toys for your gift purpose or even keep it as own collection.

Next, we headed to Teppanyaki Grill (www.facebook.com/pages/Teppanyaki-Grill) for some food-tasting in blind-folded. It was an interesting game as I never tried before, not able to see your food made your other senses more sensitive to the environment. After few tasting, I luckily guess it right, it was some garlic butter chicken and mushroom dish.

Dinner time! We had our meals at the NEXT Food Junction, a nicely decorated spacious food court with halal and non-halal dining areas.

I ordered myself a Japanese bento set. With priced at RM14.80, the portion and ingredients were quite generous.

A special farewell meet and greet with the Upin and Ipin mascot at Klang Parade’s main court before we called it a day and went back home with vouchers and goodie bags from the generous shop tenants.
