Located at Nexus Bangsar South, Eau de Vie, a French expression meaning ‘Water of Life’, is an exquisite spot that offers marvelous wine and dine experience while preserving its own unique identity under their tagline ‘Awesome Selection, Quality Fine Food’.
Spaced out into two sections, diners can enjoy your dinner in a warm dimly lit yellow lights contemporary setting, or have a relaxing fuss-free dinning moment in a spacious al-fresco area that furnished with wooden fixtures.
Open daily from 10 a.m. till 1 a.m. serving mouth-watering western cuisine, Eau de Vie is also a retail and bar stocking, offers a wide selection of wines, whiskies and spirits in Malaysia at reasonable price.
Deep Fried Squids (RM14)
Served with lemon mayo, these deep fried squids definitely go well with a pint of chilled beer.
Andalusian Crab Cake (RM22)
Served on a bed of garlic pak choy and creamy avocado aioli on top for the extra flavoring, this pan fried crab cake got a nice texture combination of crab meat and chopped veggies.
The secret of this superb creation lies in the freshness of imported Tasmanian Black Mussels, as well as the flavorful light cream sauce that prepared from white wine, shallot, garlic, butter and parsley. It was so good, even my friend who does not like mussel also had lots of it!
If you prefer a stronger flavor, Eau de Vie also serves it in Normandy (with braised shallot, garlic, mushroom, bacon, butter and parsley) or Diablo (tomato, garlic, chili peppers and parsley) style.
Eau de Vie’s house pour wine is priced at RM12 nett per glass before 9 p.m.
Seafood Mixed Grill (RM49)
A mixture of grilled sea-bass, prawn, clam, squid, scallop antipasto, tomato and asparagus with capers beurre blanc, your craving for seafood is sure to be satisfied.
Grilled Lamb Cutlets (RM48)
Served with garlic mash, minty salad and baked caramelized pear with rosemary garlic reduction, treat your senses to a wonderful culinary experience with this perfectly grilled tender Australian’s lamb cutlets.
Chef’s Special Beef Ribs (RM60)
Among the favorite signature dishes here including this Chef’s Special Beef Ribs, which chef slow braised it in savory Texas hickory sauce till tender perfection. Served with potato salad, corn-on-the-cobs and buttered veggies at side, chef promises guests a satisfying epicure journey together with the fantastic wine pairing.
Chocolate Volcano Lava Cake (RM17)
Served with premium vanilla ice cream, this made in-house heavenly rich double molten chocolate cake is definitely a dessert not to be missed for serious chocoholics.
