New Limited Edition Nestlé Aiskrim GORENG Durian Flavour

Nestlé Ice Cream introduced the new Limited Edition Nestlé Aiskrim GORENG Durian Flavour at Kelantan Delights Restaurant during its Buka Puasa event for media friends and key customers.

The Durian flavour is the new Limited Edition extension to Nestlé Aiskrim GORENG after the success of its Vanilla and Chocolate flavour variants which were launched in January 2014. Consumers can now enjoy eating the new Limited Edition Durian Flavour Nestlé Aiskrim GORENG at the convenience of their home at any time.

Also present at the event were Yit Woon Lai, Business Executive Manager of Nestlé Ice Cream, Nestlé (Malaysia) Berhad, Khoo Kar Khoon, Communications Director of Nestlé (Malaysia) Berhad and the Aiskrim Goreng Embassador, Chef Nik Michael, the Celebrity Chef & Restaurateur.

“Durian is well-loved in Malaysia, and is regarded by many people in Southeast Asia as the “King of Fruits”. In fact, we received a lot of requests for consumers for a Durian-flavoured version of our Aiskrim GORENG, and hence introduced this new Durian Flavour extension.” said Yit Woon Lai, Business Executive Manager of Nestlé Ice Cream, Nestlé Malaysia (Berhad) about the new variant.

Nestlé Aiskrim GORENG is a quick and delicious snack which can be easily prepared, with four easy steps in only 8 seconds. Nestlé Aiskrim GORENG is a unique dessert which is hot and crispy on the outside, and cold and creamy on the inside – perfect for family and friends to enjoy.

At the Buka Puasa dinner, the Aiskrim Goreng embassador, Chef Nik Michael demonstrated a quick cooking session on how to prepare Nestlé’s Aiskrim Goreng Durian in just eight seconds, to media members and customers. Two lucky media members also took part in a quick cooking challenge, judged by Chef Nik Michael, Ms. Yit Woon Lai and Mr. Khoo Kar Khoon on their presentation skills and use of local toppings.

The new Limited Edition Nestlé Aiskrim Goreng Durian Flavour is now available in Supermarkets and Hypermarkets. All variants (Chocolate, Vanilla and Durian) will be sold at the same price at RM10.90 for West Malaysia, whilst RM11.60 in East Malaysia (Inclusive of 6% GST).
