Thanks to the wonderful invite, I recently get to sample some simple yet tasty food that you will love to eat everyday at Epic Fit Meals Co., a Melbourne inspired restaurant that offers multicultural range and quality cuisines using only best and most fabulous ingredients.

I love their Epic Chicken, which served in either grilled or fried version with a wide selection of homemade Epic sauce (Eziki, Oz’s Barbie-Q, Bonza Peppa, Apple Salsa, Country Gravy, Curry Grande or Fire S.O.S.).

The juicy and flavorful Epic Grilled Chicken is marinated with their secret recipe of herbs and spices before flame-grilled to order. While the Epic Fried Chicken Schnitzel is breaded with their special blend of herbs and spices, then oven-baked ‘fried’ to scrumptious golden brown perfection. There is also a spicy version for those who are more adventurous.

My Epic Fried Chicken with Curry Grande, a wholesome Japanese chicken curry sauce made from scratch with fresh vegetables and Epic’s secret blend of spices and herbs minus the sinful coconut milk.

Using only the good and halal ingredients, including premium meats, fresh crunchy vegetables and unrefined carbohydrates, Epic offers a scrumptious list of 14 different types of side dishes. Here seen were my delicious sides the Farmer’s Coleslaw in yogurt-based dressing, low calorie and Paleo alternative Epic’s Cauli-Rice, healthy Mashed Japanese Sweet Potatoes and oven-baked to crisp perfection Fire Chookies.

A hearty meal goes down even better with these thirst quenching healthy juices, namely Red Apple Honey Smoothie (RM8.80), Coolie Beauty (RM7.80), Classic Trifecta (RM7.80) and Agua Mello Smoothie (RM8.80).

My favourites would be the Red Apple Honey Smoothie, a delicious apple smoothie with fresh yogurt and wild honey, as well as the nutritious Classic Trifecta, a juice made of carrot, apple and pear that rich in vitamin A, C and beta-carotene.

No preservatives, artificial sweeteners, additives, chemicals and definitely no MSG, this Almond Honey Mustard (RM8.80) with mixed coral lettuce, tomatoes, shredded red cabbage, orange, almond flakes and Epic’s honey mustard dressing was my ideal of wholesome balanced everyday fresh food meal.

Done with plain, tasteless and good looking novelty meals, Pizza at Epic is handmade daily with all-natural, fresh premium meats and crunchy vegetables with 100% real cheese and flavorful sauces that are made from scratch. With funky names like Shrimpy Affair and Tricolor Margarita, expect to dig into a range of choices including Pollo Supremo, Sam’s Hawaiian Luau, Oz’s Beef Delight, Nasi Lemak Pizza and 3A: Apple, Ayam & Api.

Out of so many varieties, my personal favorite was the unique Nasi Lemak Pizza (RM19.80), which includes spiced lean chicken strips, eggs, peanuts, anchovies, cucumber, real mozzarella cheese and Epic’s special Fire S.O.S.

Individually cooked to order by chef, Epic’s artisan wrappers are the complete and balanced on-the-go meal. The wrappers are Panini-pressed for the perfectly toasty finishing.

I tried the Hercules (RM12.80), a wholesome interpretation of the Greek souvlaki in wrap style, with grilled chicken fillet and vegetables flavored with Epic’s unique Eziki sauce, an appetising Greek tzatziki sauce made from blending yogurt, cucumbers, vinegar, dill, lemon and garlic.
