Thanks to the wonderful invite, I recently joined Sakae Sushi’s 18th anniversary event with the launch of a brand new menu that features more than 100 new additions. From the numerous types of sushi, sashimi to rice, noodles, bento and grilled or pan-fried specialty dishes, customers will be pleasantly surprised with Sakae Sushi’s latest offerings.

“Our new menu is certain to satisfy all palates and cravings as each mouth-watering selection is thoughtfully and skilfully prepared by our master chefs to delight and entice your taste buds,” says Yew June, General Manager of Marketing for Sakae Sushi Malaysia.

In this new menu, customers will find Salmon Signature that features an array of Sakae’s all time favourite salmon dishes such as Salmon Sashimi, Hana Maki and Salmon Mentaiyaki as well as our new creations such as Salmon Zukushi, Salmon Treasures and this Salmon Cheese Roll (RM16.99), the delectable rolls with salmon, crabstick, Japanese omelette and Japanese cucumber topped with cheese and spicy mayo. In line with Sakae Sushi’s “farm to table” philosophy, we offer only delectable air-flown fresh Atlantic salmon for a luscious melt-in-the-mouth quality.

Those with a craving for sushi will surely love our enticing new rolls such as Kani Edamame Maki, Spider Roll, Sunshine Maki, Sakae Blossom and this Sumo Roll (RM15.99), which layered with sea eel and mango topped with luscious avocado and salmon roe.

Also not to be missed are the Sachi and Fuku (RM28.99) Sets which offer a sumptuous variety of mouth-watering sushi selections. Not only is Sakae’s famous sushi range meticulously prepared with fresh and quality ingredients to create tempting delights, but also priced affordably so customers can tuck in to their heart’s content.

Lovers of Japanese cuisine who want to savor something light, try opt for the Veggie Delights section which features a myriad of fresh alternatives such as Trio Soy Salad, a refreshing combination of soy-based veggie comprising soybean, pumpkin and tomato mixed with vegetables, or this Sakae Salad (RM13.99), an enticing mixture of fresh air-flown salmon, seasoned jellyfish, crabstick, Japanese omelette and assorted vegetables served in a choice of either wafu or goma dressings.

Diners can also enjoy a greater selection of brand new Smoked Duck Series. The succulent smoke duck certainly adds a touch of tantalising enjoyment in the form of traditional rolls, noodles, hot pot (Smoked Kamo Maki, Smoked Kamo Ramen, Smoked Kamo Nabe) and more.

Sakae Sushi introduces the Mini Donburi selections for those who love tasting a variety of different foods. These mini rice bowls comprise of rice with assorted seafood and meat served with various savoury toppings. Comes with 7 choices, customers can select from Chicken Teriyaki, Beef Kinoko, Curry Katsu, Salmon Ikura, Chrirashi, Kani Fumi and this Unatama (RM19.99), the premium river eel that will melt in your mouth.

Kids who dine at Sakae Sushi will also be delighted with their fun and tasty Kiddy Sets. Whether it is the Fire Engine or Train set, the little ones will undeniably have a fun and imaginative time savouring healthy food being served on cute and adorable platters.

    They need to look at maintaining the standards across their outlets though, some places have nice fresh sashimi and some places don’t. Went to the one in Sunway Pyramid and ended up with food poisoning. -_-
