Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently got the chance to sample the All-You-Can-Eat ala-carte buffet at Tao Cuisine, which located inside the Sunway Giza, Kota Damansara.

Tao Authentic Asian Cuisine is an upscale restaurant that offers All-You-Can-Eat ala-carte buffet with full table service, focusing on quality rather than on price. The restaurant includes specialties such as Japanese, Chinese, Thailand and other foreign or ethnic food.

Tao Cuisine Restaurant with a different capacity in all outlets that also caters for special occasions such as birthday, family gathering, anniversaries, banquets, special events, receptions, meetings and conferences.

I like All-You-Can-Eat buffet for its variety and flexibility, but not so much on the food preparation and freshness at most of the buffet I went. For those looking for buffet without compromising the taste can now look forward to Tao Cuisine Restaurant, as the foods are made-to-order by skillful chefs here to ensure the quality. The services here are very attentive too with reasonably fast serving time.

*****

Opt to start the meal with assorted of nigiri and sashimi, which include inari, unagi, kani, ika, tamago, ebi, or you can just order the sushi or sashimi moriawase if you are like me have no idea which to order.

Beautifully prepared, this delightful Green Dragon Roll was served together with deep fried prawn, cucumbers, kani, avacado and mango, where the delicacy of Japanese cuisine is truly reflected in the selections of different maki at Tao Cuisine Restaurant.

Got myself a nutritious chicken herbal soup for the tummy warmer.

Gyoza has always been a must-have for me in Japanese cuisine. Besides this pan-fried minced meat gyoza, Tao Cuisine Restaurant also offers shrimp patties, awabi ebiko, okonomiyaki, nanbanzuke, edamame and chawanmushi as the appetisers for diners to savor before all the delicious mains.

Love that sizzling sound from the hot plate when it is served in front of you. Diners will also be able to enjoy the great spread of different teppanyaki choices, including hot spicy chicken, beef bacon, smoked duck, snapper, saba steak, tofu kimchi and black pepper beef, which I like the rich flavored sauce very much.

To further tease your palate, try the yakimono grilled dishes, which are very common in Japanese cuisine. Seafood lovers must try this Kaki Hiroyaki, baked oyster with enticing cheese mayo, as well as the Motoyaki Scallop, baked juicy and plump scallop with unique spicy mayo.
[portfolio_slideshow include=”12584, 12586″]

On that same yakimono menu too, diners can order Ika Teriyaki, grilled squid with flavorful teriyaki sauce, and Shishamo Shioyaki, grilled pregnant fish with just salt and pepper for light seasoning.
[portfolio_slideshow include=”12582″]

When serving a whole grilled fish on a plate, it is usually placed on the table with the fish’s belly facing the diner. Interesting fact I got from Google.

Save the best for last! Make your reservation at Tao Cuisine Restaurant at least 1 day before and diner is entitled for this special dish, which applicable for lunch (Sat and Sun) and dinner (Mon till Sun).
